Show off your LST!!!

Okay, I don't know what the L in LST stands for, but I've read how it causes a change in hormone distribution. This plant (and they've all been through hell on my 1st grow with MANY mistakes) is only 6.5" tall after 5.5 weeks, but went ahead and started wrapping her around. Tied her down with a plastic coated tie wire from a loaf of bread which I hooked to the PVC. It's black and underneath to the right of the pic from the side and attaches to the PVC, but don't know if it will show. Did it last night and she was a little droopy, but today I couldn't believe how many tops showed and started heading towards the lights. The larger leaf laying down on the right f the pic from the top was the original top. Don't know if what I did was official, but it's my newbie offering.
i think it comming along fine. good job. soon the secondary grow tips will be pushing up. good luck!

I've used LST many times without even knowing it had a name. It gives the effect of topping the plant without you having to make a slice.

I also practised supercropping before i knew it had a name. All of these tricks come in handy from time to time.

hey skunk, have you ever supercropped the individual grow tips? like, right at the base of the leaves junction? i seems like it would boost nutrient flow to that growtip.

and how much supercropping stress can a girl take?

No, I'm not sure if I've done that, but I usually crop till a mom has given me around 200 clones.

You sure that was 4 weeks? The leaves look suspisciously like the plant is almost ready for harvest. maybe only a week or two away.
Yeah well it might be in 5th week, but either way it's way ahead of what plants normally look like. I'd like to hear from other people if revegging caused their plants to flower faster the second time. Also it's on a 11 day 13 night so that makes it go faster too.

Hey Everyone,
This is my first grow and learning as I go. I started flowering with 8 plants. 6 were males. I wacked them and decided to add another one to my system,
After a little screw up, I ended up with two plants flowering. One Indica and one Sativa,
So, I had to tie the sativa down to keep them close in height. Like I said, my first grow so I'm not sure how much effect it has had on the flowering.
Lots of growth and all the bud sights perking right back up within a day.
The sativa is definitly flowering slower than the indica, but I think that's normal.
Here's some pics, my camera's not the greatest, but you'll get the idea.
Let me know what you think :peace:

LST is amazing. Look from when I first LST'd my plant, 4 days later and today, 6 days later. I can't believe it!!!
