on its side a 1.2 metre tent becomes twice the floor area at half the height, going to put 3 x 300w cfl in mine with 8 lowryder #2 ....any thoughts ?

I would rather have fewer , taller plants .

Don't tents have a floor that is thicker than the other sides?

It might not sit very sturdily if one side is heavier than all the others.

You could be right on that one mate, i'm seriously considering putting a partition up in the bedroom 2m x 4m at ceiling height which is 2.4m so could in theory get slower but stronger genetics like master kush or girl scout cookies , only thing that's putting me off is the prospect of getting dodgy genetics , some have too many vastly differing phenotypes, for example i brought 4 ww cross bigbud from female seeds each one was pretty bad apart from one so i used her as a motherplant but the clones were significantly less vigorous to the point where my "from seed" girls were ready at the same time as the clones, i was kinda stuck in a savage loop with it and ended up throwing out a dozen clones just to negate the temptation to run them again...changing strains is always a gamble so if you can suggest something top shelf that maybe needs 10/12 weeks after flipping to 12s
