I don't have a journal currently, but I did put together an Anatomy of a Perpetual Grow Cycle thread not too long ago.
Ohh yeah feel free to post ideas and photos here, if I don’t see it, it didn’t happen.
love to see it, I’m starting a three week flip that may go to 4. Was working out drop and flower schedules last night.
planning on switching from AN I have left to Jacks so there is less mixing, bigger batches and using tanks for storage.

Love this. Perpetual growing is the only way I can have a consistent supply for myself.so, here's my journal so far

Very nice, that’s what I’m talking about, share the pitfalls as well. As the big buds. Me and wife go through 1/4# a month more being shut in. I like selection too been smokin GG for the last few years as my main Meds. Best I have found for my pain. Best way to fill the jars with a variety is perpetual and you can always adjust the schedule if you need. I’d suggest a easy cloner, cheap and easy. Put cuts in with RO water turn it on and don’t look for 7-10 days.

Didn’t catch the link. Very in depth for the novice to catch on trying to print it now.
Most important part that wasn't stated in that article is that in a perpetual, one must get used to literally killing and getting rid of good plants to ensure the continuity of the perpetual cycle itself.

Exactly, there is a natural cull like in nature, runts, males, herm’s, plants that don’t make the grade for the fight for space in the flower room.

just got rid of my last 6 GG4, 4’ trained like the ones I have in flower, got 10 new hortilux 1000w bulbs and my nursery and middle school back.

also cleaned all my tubes installed new bulbs and switched veg to 625w may go 24/0 on light to see if I can get seed to flower times down, 6 weeks is gonna screw up the cycle. Or throw more seeds and have a line- up coming out of veg best looking 3-4 at a turn??

The idea is to never run out of bud. Been doing that pretty consistently since January. I’ve had to run out in the past many times to fill a gap while waiting for stuff to dry or ripen. Spending hard earned cash on mediocre bud to smoke really pisses me off but there is rec weed available in a neighboring state. If I feel the need to pay through the nose for weed that’s at least an option.

Could never get seed to harvest times to line up for me very well. Too long a lead time & causing gaps in expected harvests. My supply would always falloff a cliff waiting for the plants. A clone king was a great investment; works so much better than my old DIY bucket cloner. Clones are so much easier to plan for especially if you know the strains you run very well.
Here’s my thread if ya want to see how I do it:

One of the things you can do if your interested in perpetual is to start them earlier than needed and just butcher them if your waiting on flower tent. Make them be a size you want and keep them like that until they hit the dance floor.

LMAO. It's the organic nature of our hobby Same clones for 3 straight years. 1-3 week diff in all rotations by plant not crop. I've timed it right by acident a couple times.

Plan on keeping mothers on my favorites, already have Purple Thai and GG4 in rapid rooter 4 days in and they have little spikes, fish bones in another 4. after harvests (3) two weeks apart give it take. I should have the stash set. Until I get harvest on first seed drop.

Your cycle is faster than mine. But I pull cuttings from outside when I get down to 15 hrs of light. I used to flip the tent at 6 weeks of flower on previous run. Have 4 veg lights now. Might try 4 week flips.

Just starting fast to clear the shelves, have a feeling I’m gonna be a babysitter for a while...then relax back into a 3-4 flip as I get the pedigree stables full.

I'm indoors like you. Pile up in the summer. Wish I had the balls to let my trees go outside. The pounds I have prevented by topping to remain hidden.

I have a 36x48 barn that’s obscures the back 20 from the road. Definatly doing a few MTF said to finish first week September. Have to see what else I have that will thrive and finish in the Enchanted Mitten.

I've done ok with White Widow, GG and an imitation Diesel here. Played hell last year though. Too Fn hot and dry. Then cold and rain. Hell, snow fell before the leaves.

Roll of the dice with our fine weather. Gonna get out and check light angles to dig a few holes. You germ outside or transplant, if so what height?

Sounds like a job for a broadcast of my mixed bagseed, all good stock WW, BP, Alaskan kush, he grows at 50N. The two Mystery seeds I have going are kicking ass one looks very indica. Once they get older we’ll play guess that Strain...

I transplant. A week maybe two on the deck. Keep some potted for hardcore training on the deck. The sun heals them fast. Keep your holes to 5 gal. Done 1-20. 5 seems most productive here. If it gets perfect you can always top dress and pile on.
