The last 3 days my plant smells like buttered toast! Wtf? Totally weird. Is this a sign of something?

I'm telling you it really smells like that. And I'm confused. Just doing a cfl grow with lots of lst like a scrog without the screen

I grow hydro & been having a smell with plain water! ? It's a light smell and comes & goes.

I think I been sabotaged. Found a wrapper from a stick of butter in my grow room under my pot. Mother Flippin babysitter must have done this. If it was him Omg! I'm x- planting now
