this isnt about neurotic members, its about the mods' decision on how to handle the situation. my opinion on the matter is thus irrelevant as is yours.

as for why i'm here and why i posted this thread...i thought we could rationally discuss this and hopefully the mods would take notice. well they have and it isnt closed yet. so instead of saying "just deal with it" which im sure they're not open to consider, here is your chance to propose a plan 'b'.

i would prefer an evenly-moderated forum where blatant and uninvited antagonizing is not tolerated from anyone. that usually works best.
the key to that working is: not tolerated from anyone

i think they should not only do that, but make it a contest. who ever out-insults
everyone else is declared 'winner' and receives a week's supply of prozak.

i think its that everyone is used to defending themselves when a smart ass comment comes along not only on forums but in real life. ive seen more smart ass comments get thrown around here in a way it doesnt offend anyone then i seen some that offends everyone so its all on how you present your comment

I don't know who Brad Pitts agent is but he's getting him some good roles. Pitt is finally becoming a fine actor. That Benjamin Button was some of his best work.

Heathaa..... I agree but would add, that not only how it is presented, but how it is PERCEIVED. the person reading it can only control that part. Some have fallen down on the job...and I understand the frustration.

rollitup told me friday he would immediately close this section when he return from his weekend away.

he returned sunday night and said he would close this section first thign monday morning.

monday morning he said he was working on new rules.

i have been ignored by him since.
