so how long in veg 400 mh

ok this is my second attempt with soil, 400 watt mh, then hps in the flower,...my question is how long should i veg them to get a few oz.s and time my next grow at the end of flower, should i start with differnt stages...every 3 weeks new seedling? i want to get a constant supply so i have no need to buy eccept for a treat

under a 400 mh you can easily fit 4 plants veg for a month then flower under the hps to get the least 1oz off each.I used my 400 hps 3 weeks veg then flowered for 2 moths and 1.5oz off each plant.

i normaly veg 6 plants under 400wtt's for 60 days. when the plant are 3 to 4 weeks old i cut clones. this way every 2 months or so ihave 6 to put in flower.and just keep going and going and going. LOL goood luck

i like the 6 plant theroy and this is my second grow, my first i pulled rarly but got the learning or some of, now i want to get the best yeild in the shortest time and i have one light set up, and in the summer the heat might be a problem... will take all ideas

well to do the 6 plant thing you need to get another light.That way when you are flowering plants you still have plants vegging and clones rooting.

Sad is it may seem i wish i had a few extra bills to put into it and i know that it would cut my grow time in half, but the bills are spent to pay the "bills" and that is why i have started to grow my own, the first grow went good, but i pulled them early becase i wanted to start my next more experinced grow (1 under my belt)

well now that you got 1 under your belt you can see where you lacked at and try to better to increase potency and yeild.It does not cost much to have a 2 room setup. U can use shop light floros for about 20 dollars a pc. or cfls(you can get 6 42 watts from home depot for $10 ).Those are cheap to run, set up and you can save instead of vegging with the 400 if bills are a problem. you can easily add more or upgrade when your bills get right.

you can flower whenever you are ready. those babies are looking good keep up the veg let them grow some more and give time for the other ones to catch up

yes i say veg a little longer. you well yield a lot better. looking good great job.

my first grow they grew like 2 feet but had issues hermies and now i want to try again but not veg as long to give the most time in flower. better buds?

the flowering time depends on the strain, but you can veg as long as you want to.
