tobacco is regulated because it is difficult to grow ...weed is impossible to regulate ...one small grow room can supply dozens of people for a year, the government tried to ban alcohol ..so i guess you were o.k. with that at the time because they"know better"? alcohol and tobacco kill millions a year, weed has never killed a single person in its long existence...so weed should be even less regulated than those harmful drugs.

If everyone was growing it, why would armies be necessary? It would be cheap, like most produce or flowers are. Are orange groves and rose greenhouses protected by armies? You are silly.

Yes, they export everywhere..and they do have armies..try and break into a grow in cali..you'll get shot. Weed is the #1 cash crop..with no taxes paid. They have a huge problem with illegal grows. Most on State or public lands. Many tended by forced migrant labor, a really great example of how thing should be. We need drones or something in Cali....

Back when hemp (yes, people smoked it) was grown in this country there were no such issues. Its not the plant, its limiting access to it that drives people towards unsavory behavior is trying to obtain it. The plant does not cause violence, the laws do.

So how is this what we are talking about? Full 100% legalization and everyone able to grow a plant in their backyard, just like Birch, Comfrey, or St. Johns Wort. In that scenario it is as valuable a substance and commonly available. How much crime is attributable to people needing aspirin? And that cap is lethal too!

More like the late 1800's, about the time of the American Industrial revolution..30's may have been the hey day for cannabis propaganda. Like any reasonable society, there were bigger problems to deal with first..opium, heroin..wonens' rights, child labor and sweat shop issues...yup the government was all about oppression then too..Before that, government even freed the slave..can't get more oppressive than that. How was a white guy supposed to get ahead, when he could not force young children to toil 18 hrs a day for gruel? The man was stepping all over people....at least that would be how you saw it if you were alive at the time.

I think cannabis is good. I think it needs to have regulations though. It's not a god as you hold it up to be, nor does everyone want to use it. Again..you have shown that you can't reason..so please stop mis quoting me..I have necer said cannabis is bad.
