So I'm pretty sure I'm banned from Target stores for life after today's transaction

It was Target you fuck tard. Do you know where you are right now? Do you recognize your surroundings? Just checking ;)
Same exact policy, nimrod.

Again, order online and pick up was made so people would STAY OUT of the store. It was made to help at risk people, not cater to some dumbassed hillbilly wanting to skip to the front of the line and make everybody do things his way.

Totally agree w the op.
On a weekend COVID shopping madness standing in a line, considered the on line purchase and just go to the much much shorter pick up line .
No the delay was installed by rule to prevent my scheme going through.

That aside, it really is like some people enjoy not helping others and are entertained by others suffering or misfortune
They were probably peaking all day after crushing your dreams.

Like making an order online, then having the store process that order, having the worker at the store go out, pick up the item, label it sold, match it up to the invoice, and then put it in the holding area for the person that ordered it to make sure it's there when he/she shows up.

Only to have the orderer come in, render all of that work useless by going and grabbing another item off the shelf, taking that item to a counter that they're not supposed to go to with it and then insist that they're doing what they want because it works out better for them.

Yeah. Makes sense.

I waited in a very long line. Not a short pickup line unfortunately. My wife pointed out that if I had gone to the "pickup counter" they more than likely would have handled it in about 30 seconds flat. However, target divides their business between online and in store entities. Online doesn't give a fuck about in-store's problems and in-store doesn't give a fuck about online order problems. That's basically what happened. I went to the wrong counter, and instead of the fat cunt just pointing me to the pickup counter or god forbid walking me over there she instead chose to act like a piece of shit and refuse any assistance of any kind. You can't expect too much from manager's like that when they're only making $20+/hour, right? :)

I don't shop in stores other than home depot because most people suck. Not all people. Just most. It's a numbers game and the more people present in any given store ensures the numbers are working against you. I can assure you I left everyone in that place on edge, and not a single one of them would have any interest in reliving the experience. Myself included. I think in a nutshell we both could have behaved better. Online shopping: it's a way of life. A much easier way of life :)

They never picked the item you fucking inbred retard. I did all the work for them. You're welcome for the clarification. It's my pleasure :)

That's because you didn't follow the rules. You were supposed to wait for them to do it, recieve the notice it was ready and then go pick it up.

But you being you and not giving a damn about anything or anyone but you didn't follow the rules because you're a self centered asshole.

Order online, pickup at the store was been around for years prior to the pandemic. It's a convenience for customers, that's all. When you order online you have the CHOICE to pickup at the counter, or have them bring the items to your car.

Ready for that reach around yet sugar? We'll go over the rules first. I don't want any misunderstandings in case you're a stupid overpaid fat cunt :)
I'm not a homosexual, so you'll have to try someone else.

It is funny though how so many Republicans all think the rules don't apply to them and when they're made to follow them they get mad and go out on a homosexual binge.

Last time I ordered something online for pickup at Target, when I went to pick it up, I remembered that there was something else I needed and had forgotten to order. I went to pick the extra item off the shelf before going to the pick up counter, so they could ring me up there at the same time. Well when I got to the front of the CS line, they gave me my pickup item no problem, but told me that I had to stand in line again to purchase the extra item, because other people were waiting for pickup behind me. WTF!?

Hence the rules page I linked pointed to both instances.

Usually home depot is pretty dam fast with filling online orders for pickup in store, but once in awhile I beat 'em to it. I just grab the items I ordered and wait in line at customer service. I always get an emphatic thank you from the counter staff. I have never once received anything less than a thank you and excellent customer service. That's the difference between professional management and unprofessional management. Home depot provides a thank you, they get a sale, save some labor, and I walk out the door with the items I paid for. That's good management. That's good service. It kinda seems like an easier way to do things, right?

It's still the same premise regardless: you have to wait for them to pull it and notify you It's ready for pickup.

Whether you decide to go in or do curbside is moot.

Home Depot's inventory is a mess though. Many times they say they have items in stock, which they really do not. Other times, they say they have items out of stock, which are sitting on the shelf. Recently I needed a very specific sort of screw (not the reach-around type that Taco-boy wants), but online said that the two closest stores were out of stock, and I had to drive 30 miles to get them. I took a chance and went to the local store, and found 5-boxes of the screws sitting on the shelf, so I bought 4.

Republican eh? Voted for Obama twice. Didn't vote in 2016 because Hilary is a soulless cunt that eats kittens for breakfast and trump is a blithering orange idiot. To be honest I still blame Hilary for Monica fucking Lewinsky and the immense waste of time the Republican party wasted on the taxpayer's dime to talk about that chubby chaser billy getting a toothy blowjob from her because Hilary couldn't do her fucking job. Now if billy could have run again? I'd have tap danced into that voting booth. He's always been a likeable cat. Ya know? The opposite of you, right?

Listen buddy, you can call my mom a whore, call my wife a cunt, fuck my sister and leave her with a bastard child to raise alone, but please do not ever call me a fucking Republican you inbred fuck tard of a wet fart that somehow turned into a stack of shit tall enough to be called a human being. Sugar :)
