Hey guys. I got fast bud automatic and Nirvana auto Northern lights.
Im using some local soil for palm trees, prenuted with ph 6.5-7.2, mixed with 25% perlite
The NL has 4 leaves already with some yellowing on tips.
FB got the "stem" out of soil and the 2 roundy leaves already seems to be yellowish.
Is it cause my soil too hot for my small babies?
Also, I got some soil in my backyard, from compost. We throw banana, potatoe, cucumber, vegetable peels and all that sort of things. Under thetop layer I can find some black dirt there. Is it useable or it could have some diseases and weeds etc.?
any input aprecitated, stay high :bigjoint:

the thought of using home compost gives me shivers. i prefer nice sterilized germ/bug free stuff.

Overwatering and overfeeding are the main reasons that seedlings fail to thrive, along with light. Put up some pics if you want a valid diagnosis. I use "home compost". If it is properly composted and no diseased plants were used in the pile, then it should be good. I always use seedling starter soil for my seedlings, so no guesswork.
