I never flush. Run organics at full strength till harvest. I also use bud candy....all my hash comes out tasting and smelling fantastic. I could smoke this stuff at church and no one would know it was weed....smells great!!!

Never hurts I suppose.... I just don't see the point of even bothering though. Why skimp out and get chem nutes when you can use organic....I'd guess if you have a large opp you would use chem ferts with a flush, but I don't think that really falls into the bounds of "when do I flush?". Just run organics botanicare is like $50 a gallon.

So many nute options I was surprised to see a crop from miracle grow i just purchased jacks for my new 5x8 grow and I’m running advanced in another 5x8

I've used miracle grow before....grew fine for the most part. The smoke however was the harshest I have ever had, really gave you that hacking cough. This was unflushed though.

This whole "flushing" discussion must get really, really--really--old for you vet growers out there. I get wanting to pop off snarky comments and I'm brand new.

"Flushing" means so many different things in this context too. Some people still actually pour gallon after gallon of water through their soil, thinking this somehow leaches something (the "chemicals") out of the plants. Others just stop feeding for a few weeks right at the moment the plant needs food the most and is stacking on weight. Flushing is one of the last and worst corny "bro-science" practices that still has a tight grip on a rather large number of growers. Flushing and "the paper towel method" are the two worst offenders imo.

I've read multiple posts of yours where you quietly nudge people to just put the bean in the dirt (for heaven's sake).

I think flushing has tenacity because sometimes you might need to (rinsing a medium). It would be easier to dispel if it was a no-never-don't. And yeah, the vernacular of it is unfortunate.

It's really simply a product of large grow opps using miracle grow type ferts. That shit is straight up nasty unflushed.... difficult to even smoke imo.
I'd guess that the average grower produces enough kitchen scraps and shit to feed a crop. Worms eat shit....
