Someone please help whats wrong with my plant??

i just happen to check up on my plant and when i looked at it this is what i saw.....d 018.jpgd 017.jpgd 016.jpg??????

Its a autoflower on its 16th day this isnt a sign to start adding nutes is it??? thanks for the help:joint:
 
Some bagged soil contains nutrients already.

I wouldn't give nutes to a young plant like pics above.

If you are already using nutes, stop for awhile and just provide them water.

Im using fox farm ocean forest i havent added any nutes yet just worried/ curious why some leaves have yellow and brown spots on it?? help plz i dont want my baby to die
 
Fox farm is really nute rich just make sure your ph is good cause FF is kinda on the high side imo
 
just go yout local garden center, as for the 1:1 ratio.. 1 part ff to one part vermiculite.. ie > 1 cup of ff 1 cup of vermiculite, just means half and half... mix to fill your pot so if your pot hold 1 gal of soil just mix 1/2 vermiculite and 1/2 fox farm.. and dont feel bad about the nute burn.. im on my first grow and done almost everything wrong..... great thing about weed is.. its a weed and its tough!!!

Just for future reference, Fox farm also makes seed starter soil - so i would use that next time to start the seeds, then transplant to the ocean soil after a few weeks.
 
r if you're broke like me just go ahead and buy some vermiculite and mix it in slowly with watering.
 
Huh? am I the only one that doesn't make sense to? How does vermiculite help by mixing it in with water, from what I understand of vermiculite its the opposite of perlite so it doesn't do anything if u put it in while watering. How does that help oxygenate the soil and help with drainage? That kind of statement is the exact thing that confuses noobs. If ur gonna use vermiculite u need to mix it into ur soil like you would with worm castings or lime, it does nothing if its only part of the top soil.
 
just plain water for now. see if it will hang in the FFOF. if not, we'll have to transplant to a "cooler" mix. some genos don't take well to hot soils.
 
Vermiculite in most American stores is mostly neutral, adding air space and drainage to the soil allows for better drainage which allows you space to allow pH to moderate its self. This can also be done with perlite to the same effect. The fact is that the soil is to hot are rather to many nutrients. Which for the most part can be corrected by using less of it overall.
But as I know I am not an expert in anything this is just what I have seen work.
Sorry for any confusion.

Btw I use the flow of water to mix in the vermiculite as it is not like perlite and doesn't float in the water.
 
ffof to me seemed strong for seedlings,,, killed one of mine and stunted the other real bad.. It stayed 2in. tall for about 3 weeks. Going to get the weaker fox farm from now on for seedlings.
Had 2 plants take to it real good though.
