Space Blanket? Y/N?

I did a thread search, but apparently this has never been a topic? hah.

anyways, wondering if a space blanket works the same as mylar in a grow space. Ive done about 6-7 grows now since my first and Ive never used any reflection. My grow room uses the same green walls in my user pic. the plants seem to grow great. maybe they feel at home with my "green room", but Im curious if I would see more product if I used mylar.

anyways, the only reason Im asking about space blankets is because I had one that I opened for another project and I still have left overs. so I was curious if it would benefit me at all.

any feedback?

is it bad that Ive never used mylar or any type of reflection on my walls? Im curious if I would get more yeild if i did.

The blanket works fine but flat white paint works as well. Which ever works best for you. I use a blanket to cover up the door of my closet since its wood and painting it is not an option.

Ah ok thanks! I'm just curious if I'll see a difference? I mean my crop grows fine with green walls! Painting is out of the question but if it would be beneficial I'd put up some reflective material!!

There have been several threads on these "space blankets"
It was some time ago but it was said they are pretty similar to or the same as mylar so by all means use them if you have them.

I tried it till i got that panda shit thats black on one side and white on the other. I think your yeilds may see a slight increase. depends on your light spread mostly but I always worried that al the folds in the space blankets will cause hot spots. DOubt its much to worry about. but i'd definitely try to get all the light possible on your little nuggies
