Spore syringe from Canada

So I built myself a small box type chamber, and threw together some automation. Heater turns on at 24C, and turns back off at 27.3C, maintaining a nice temperature.

I innoculated the jars yesterday. I didn't use tape on the jars. I left the holes open, but did have tinfoil on during the steam sterilization, and put it back on immediately after I put the spore solution into each jar. I accidentally injected too much into a couple of jars due to the plunger being stuck, so I only got 7 out of 10, but we'll see how things go.

Anyone have a good vendor to buy spores from in Canada ?

Was gonna try Ralph’s but it seems sketchy . There is no response from them plus they have crappy reviews of ppl getting ripped off ... Ralph’s now wants you to send gold and silver as payment LOL

I've hear Ralphsters used to be a good vendor but has gone downhill over the past years. In 2020, if you are in Canada and looking for spores your options are kind of limited unfortunately, as some of the good US vendors (like spore works) are not shipping to Canada anymore.

Basically your three options for a dedicated spore vendor are Vancouver Seed Bank, Spores Lab, or Spores101. Some of the sites selling mushroom also have spores.

Not trying to create controversy or defame anyone, but Ive had piss poor results with Spores101, good results with Spores Lab, and haven't tried VSB yet (they are out of stock atm)

Also, DrKiz has given great advice RE making liquid culture's. In my experience a jar will colonize from LC inoculation in about half the time it takes from Spore inoculation.
