Looking good for a first grow man. Be patient with the curing/drying as that's where a lot of the newer growers mess up apparently.

Thanks man. I've sealed most of the jars at between 58 and 62% rh those i'll burp twice a week now. What i sampled on the 2nd "burp" is shaping up real nice. I've read you can cure them up to 4-6 months don't have that kinda willpower lol.

My Dad passed away last night at 6:30 pm he was 88. He was a good father who had four children and he loved and stood by us all no matter what we did. They blessed him with beautiful grand children and great grand children. He outlived two wives to which he was faithful and cared for until the very end. He cherished his family, father and sisters. What more could you ask for in life?

"He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun..." R.H Auden/Funeral Blues

I love you Dad rest in peace...10/19/24 -12/23/12

Thanks to all for the condolences. Appreciate it B166ER420 those cfls made me work for it. After the memorial service a few freinds and select relatives came back to the house and i rolled a big fatty of the 3 strains i harvested mixed together. Within 10 minutes the room was dead silent...watching "Finding Bigfoot". I guess it was OK lol.

I plan on continuing my current grow (10 Ladies 3 wks into flower) I'll have at least 90 days to settle the estate so i should be good. I'll post some pics tomorrow. Burn One.

Ten Ladies 3 1/2 wks into flower all clones from 1st grow. First time around i stuck pretty close to the teachings of "Uncle Ben" who I'm sure many of you are familiar with. He believes in no trimming or defoliation to produce more yield (I pulled 6 1/2 oz first grow w/3 plants this way:mrgreen:) Thanks UB!!!

This grow, for a variety of reasons (ie: limited space in tent, venilation issues in other flower room) I decided to follow the "Cheap Old Basterd's" advice Old school grow advice "member cheap old basterd club" and thin the herd. I've followed an aggressive high N fert schedule and all the plants were really healthy prior to the thinning so i felt now was the time if i was gonna do this. They could definitely benefit from the increased light penetration/air circulation. The girls in the tent were also topped to level the canopy and reduce height 029.JPG023.JPG026.JPG The ladies in the other closet have been allowed to grow as i have 8 1/2 ft to the ceiling.021.JPG016.JPG015.JPG Lastly, I know how passionate some here are about defoliation/trimming and i don't want to debate it so just save the anti leaf cutting posts if you would. Thanks...Burn One.

Spent the last week dealing with lawyers, probate, ect.....ughhhhh. Time to get back to this grow. I now have a total of 12 plants in flower. Because this could be my last grow for a while I decided to root 4 more clones and grow some "Mini Buds" just for the hell of it....029.JPG031.JPGTopped for 4 colas017.JPG005.JPG013.JPG015.JPGIndies009.JPG015.JPG019.JPGSativas
018.JPG So far so good after the defoliation they've responded well. For the most part the nodes are really tight and the buds are filling in nicely. There's A couple of the taller plants that got stretched to begin with we'll see how they turn out. Time to go burn one and do a little maintenance.

keep it real.

looks good! you should cut back on the N late into flower this time,i believe a happy plant is a green plant but, your last harvest had alot of N in it, good luck man those buds look great!

Thanks, it's been a learning experience for sure. The 1st grow i was a little leary of the high P bloom ferts so i leaned kinda heavy towards the N in my NPK ratio. I'm using a 1-3-2 ratio for flower this time and 5wks in it hasn't induced any leaf drop or yellowing...so good so far.

Thought I would update since it's been several Days.

Some of these are at 6 wks flower some at 5 (one is at 2 wks). Been feeding at a 1-3-2 ratio the last couple of weeks (strength varies depending on the plant). Everything looks ok a couple are showing a little nute burn but i'll be backing off the ferts the last few wks anyway.

Several of these have been topped for 4 colas, some have done better than others, a couple got streched more than i wanted should haved lsted em. I did lst several. Next grow i'll do them all. The defoliation experiment continues. Don't know if it's gonna increase or decrease my yield but i had to flip 11 plants at about the same time so space/circulation, ect was an issue.

Been fighting a powdery mildew problem in one room. It rained here 13 out of 16 days and the humidity went out of control. Added another fan and made some adjustments and got the RH down to mid 20's. Treated with Serenade 2 days ago and haven't seen anymore but I'm going keeping treating just in case.

Time to Burn One....003.JPG002.JPG009.JPG013.JPG015.JPG019.JPG024.JPG028.JPG030.JPG

SG1 of the "Cheap old basterd club" answered a question for me about my grow and gave me some great advice about cfls and nutrient consumption thought i would share never read this anywhere...

I decided to follow your defoliation advice at week 3 of flower (so far so good) and have been just doing maintenance trimming since. I have some plants at 6 1/2 wks (on just water now) and some at 5 1/2. I've read to add 7-10 days growing under cfls. Should I continue feeding like I'm 7-10 days behind? And should i adjust the final stripping at 2 wks before harvest? In the last few days they've really swelled up . Great thread I've learned alot here Thank You.

Your plants will deffinately benifit from deleafing with CFLs for added penetration.
I would hold back with the peters bloom formula after week 6 of flower, even if they go longer than 8 wks.
CFL plants are much slower to utilize nutes, so you'll have smoother smoke by allowing more time to use up the nutes.
The reason to add more time to CFL flowering is because they are slower in every aspect, including nute consumption.
Thank you for your kind words.

Just go to "my rollitup" under my profile select "edit signature" then paste your thread link in. After that go to my account/general settings and scroll to "Thread Display Options" and check "show signature". Checked out your thread the plants look good.
