Still struggling with spider mites

I need help I’ve been dealing with spider mites since the 2nd week of seedlings. I brought home a clone that had them. I’ve been using insecticidal spray which helps but I can see that all the plants now have them. Yesterday I wiped the leaves down it doesn’t seem too bad. The leafs have a bunch of white spots but there weren’t that many mites. I think I need to use a better product! If I don’t get rid of the mites well I still be able to switch to flowering? Will the buds be infested? Which product should I use? Neem oil? Please help?

Spider mites are horrible, disgusting little bastards. Neem oil may help, but if you don't get them under control ASAP - pardon my French - you're fucked.

I have a friend who's growing and has them, and I don't let that poor bugger within 100 yards of my street. I swear if I ever find them in my house I'll burn it to the ground.

You might be too late into your grow, I'm not sure thb, I've you've tried neem oil and other similar alternatives.. There's no harm trying organic stuff... Garlic ginger, lemon and peppermint/mint spray.. Just boil up ingredients and strain into spray bottle. Genuinely hope you manage the little pricks. They ruin everything

I find they really like half hydrogen peroxide and water sprayed twice a week. Make sure you get underneath the leaves.

Rosemery oil as well they apparently hate.. 2:1 ratio

dont forget every minute crevise in and around the grow room. those little fuckers are hard to get rid of once you have them.
as for your plants, i couldn't see many webs, thats when you got them bad, the leaves will curl and become a new breeding ground.

this is my honest opinion of what i would do. scrap the plants and burn them to hell and back. bug bome your grow room and paint it a pure white paint and once thats done, start again and remember to change your clothes and have a shower every time yu visit your grow

i do a weekly spray of dr. bronner's organic soap, cayenne pepper, cinnamon. hyrdogen perioxide and milk can help too. I've used neem oil, but I feel like it can effect the finished product (taste). I have used miticide green in the past (soybean oil and h20) which is specific for mites. You can get a free sample at the website (I bought a big bottle too just to save on shipping). I should work that back in the rotation, just don't want to hit the soil as it will kill the good mites. I use predator mites and nematodes for soil (this gets expensive) so that's all my flower tent gets. Veg gets sprayed and good bugs in the soil. I spray at lights out so the plants don't get burned by the oil/h20 combo. Plants look great otherwise.good luck

miticide green says on the bottle that it is non-toxic to all mammals and not bad for the environment (hope so!)

Iv'e always used Dawn Dish Liquid (Blue) and wiped out any mites and eggs instantly.
Does absolutely no harm to the plants whatsoever. 2-3 drops in a spray bottle fill the bottle with water
and your good to go. I spray underneath the leaves cause I've never had them on top of the leaves. Once treated, spray the plants again with plain water only to wash off any remaining reside. Periodically check the plants every couple days make sure more have not
arrived. I've never been re-infested after spraying and I've done quite a few pretty sizable grows. My plants
average 6' - 12' in size outdoors. Works great for indoors as well as Iv'e done indoor grows also.

If you get spider mites mid bloom is it something to worry about or is it too late for them to cause serious damage. Not a heavy infestation just spotty here and there. I’m worried about spraying since buds are almost at the halfway mark. I’m outdoors btw.

Another option would be Dr Zymes' Eliminator. I haven't used it yet but it gets great reviews, I have a bottle on order for some powdery mildew problems I'm having.

If your using the blue dawn dish liquid method described above in my previous post you can spray mid-late bloom just be sure to spray
with water only after to wash the buds/leaves off. You'll be fine.

How soon after do you rinse with water only ?

luckily I got my clones from phinest and they only put out quality clones. They seem pretty immune to disease which is Prob why I’m not having heavy infestations . Still frustrating to deal with tho.

A One time infestation was enough for me about 10 yrs ago. Smothered my plants with dematiaceous earth while in full flower...discarded the plants cause who'd want to hear the crackle when ya smoke a joint but I killed dem fuckers......Hot Shot No Pest Strips is my only prophylactic since. No bugs.

The mites are killed pretty much instantly once sprayed with blue dawn but I wait 3-4
minutes to rinse just in case. Worked perfect every time.

I've always noticed indicas are more immune to the mites then the sativas. Indicas can still get them but not as heavy compared
to sativas. Hybrids pretty much the same as the sativas when it comes to the level of infestation.

ya. Both these strains are supposed to have a high immunity to bugs and mold. Definitely still have them Just not nearly as bad as it could be.I sprayed last about 2 wks ago with a bout 4 dropsof blue dawn an 2tbs neem oil. Definitely contributed to keeping the mute population Down but
