I think 4 weeks into bloom is a little too late to supercrop. I try to stop bending them before starting flower. I have been tying my tall ones down in flower if they get too tall.

it can be done, i just did supercropping for the 1st time in my current grow
was well into flower
if the stem is too stiff, that you don't want to bend, it will break
but as some others told me, they bend their females as they need to, they can take quite a bit of punishment(usually, there are always exceptions)

Go ahead and super crop. Fuck it. Live and learn, right? So you snap your girls in half on your first try.

mostly done in VEG using the oh fuck i missed teqnique and 1 time crop does not make 2 heads in this case it makes 4 colas after have done it for years now and love all lower foilage/arms should be gone they steal all nuts from top along with a Supper crop had up to 20+ colas.

And your not really looking to (snap) the plant in my opinion you just want to squash the stem with your fingers you will no wen its done, it will wilt over.. or a bit of water residue will be visable.

i vegged longer than usual and ended up with a height problem. 8 days into flower, i super cropped them to even out the canopy. when a few of the buds got too tall at about 3 weeks into flower, i pinched them again. i have marked those tops and will see how their development is compared to other buds on the same plants that were not cropped a second time.

i pinched some branches so much that they were almost pointed to the floor. the bend was so tight, i figured i'd lose all that bud but they are doing fine. except for the nasty looking bend, you wouldn't know anything had happened.
