They might not have them at any hardware store... I got mine from work they have these 3ft pole walkway lighting which are from years and years ago... they use the 50watt HPS's and yes they need their own ballast. They dont really throw that much heat off which is why I went with the 50watt's and they are still pretty strong for only 50watts they are a little more then 5,000 lumens per bulb. Perfect for people like me growing in a smaller area (10x3.5x8 closet) since I tried using my 400w MH but they just throw to much heat off and I dont really have enuff vertical space. Im thinkin about throwing in another 50watt HPS to bring me up to a good solid 36,000 lumens since they work well plus only 50watts saves ya some $$$ wit PECO!:hump: Also What kind of yield can I expect roughly per plant with 36,000 lumens u guys think?

my hardware store also has the 75wtt hps
Nice i'd use'em if I didin get the 50watts for free haha. I just wanted to tweak my question in the above post. I took a look around my hardware store and found these cool socket bulb spliters pretty much u can have two bulbs in one fixture with the use of these things so I bought two of them so I can add 4 more CFL bulbs in the mix. I also got four 42watt CFL's which are 2,700 lumens per bulb so in total this new addition of lighting will add 10,800 lumens to the 31,300 in the grow room now.. So thats about 42,000 lumens total and I was wondering what could I expect as far as yield goes with that type of lumen power:?:

++rep for anyone that can roughly answer that question:hump::leaf::clap:

Hey guys, today I noticed just one of the 4 plants had some yellowing to the lower leaf areas.. When i went to touch the bigger yellowing leafs again these yellowing leafs are all located at the bottom.. but when I went to touch them they just broke off VERY VERY easy right where they join the main stem. There was only about 2-4 of these leafs in this condition.. They have been in flowering for about 4 weeks now and I was just wondering if this was normal? If you guys need pictures to help I can have them posted on here after I get home and install vista again haha but for now only have the work computer..

Oh yeah I did a total watt count today and total in the grow closet I have 500 watts of CFL/FLO's reaching 40,000 lumens
