Was up everyone I have plants a buddy gave me that's two feet tall if not more. There in promix n his personal mix. I wanna switch them to coco there in 2 gal pot n I was gonna prob go ten gal pots for two weeks then switch to 12/12 can I do that without any root problems?

Youll be fines make sure you got good clean coco

youll like the coco way better I never did like how you need wetting agents in pro mix
coco soaks it up and nothin drowns as long as you got a lil perlite in it

I've been doing raw coco how much perlite do you use

Totally dependant on your needs
personally I was running 70/30 coco/perlite
I tried 50/50 and found I had to water a shit load so I bumped the coco

you can do it strait too I believe coco holds more air then rockwool if im not mistaken

im all hydro nowadays
but one day will go organic in coco again

What do you think about undercurrent should I make the switch? My friend says it's alot easier and with my Gaurdian Blue lab I should be good. Don't want to risk my crop off the switch

It looks tight.
truth be told ive built all of my systems so I cant say ,looks decent
Does it constantly recirculate?
Thats my only concern with setups like that other that that looks cool.
I ran individual systems just cause if one plant develops problems its not shared and its easier to run different strains or perpetual harvests
at the cost of added work which aint much if you do it right

What do you run for Hydro? How's the yeild compared to coco

You know to be honest for me the yeild thing isnt what made me switch even though im all hydro now

The main reSon I switched was I hate the mess, getting crappy coco with salts in it.
Having to mix up a big pile
soaking it

it all got old for me

now I justptransfer my res water to my outdoor plants in the summer:)

and also I belive you can consider coco as a hydroponic medium with drip systems flood tables ect.

Did you mean "run" as in wich nute?

One day I will go back to coco when im ready to go completely organic
also my yields are small cause I got a small room. But im adding another story to my home and the basments getting 10 ft ceilings
so ask me the yield question agian in about a year.

but my last run in my 4.5x4.5x5 box got over 1.5 lbs
I guarantee my new rooms will produce at least 2 lbs a light hopefully more

I wont call my self an expert till I can repeatably hit 2gpw lol
