No way. My garage was 109f today. I wish...I have seeds burning a hole in my pocket. :)

I've had PM more than once. Now I fear it.
Only time with me was when I washed the basement floor, n took the larger fan out of the tent to help floor evap. Over night. Like stepping on a garden rake n having it crack ya between the eyes.

I used to worry about powdery mildew also. But, I stopped worrying once I looked at the sensor data under the canopy. Never had a problem with it either.

The graph below is after lights on. I moved the sensor 5 inches under the canopy after I watered. As you can see it stays pretty consistent under there. Keep in mind, there is probably more space underneath the canopy than there is above in my grow space. Take away the four walls and ambient air is probably going to be more of a factor.

Have you started planting any beans yet!
Hey! I don’t see the constant up & down from equipment deadband! Is that a “smoothing” feature of the graphing software, or is something else at work here?

No. The graphing software does smooth out data if your looking at a larger sample size like a weeks worth of data.

What's happening is the leaves above the sensor are blocking all the heat from the lights.
I have a sensor above and below the canopy right now. I'll post the results once I have 24 hrs of data.

I don't see your post and I'm not much of a bug expert anyways. Had a problem with gnats when I was using organics as fertilizer in a more soil type setup. Glad I don't have much experience with bugs!

This is the “Graph” function. As loaded on my laptop, it does offer more robust options than the cell phone screen, predictably enough, including export to cvs. I didn’t see a 365 day graph option, but I’ll fart around with it some more.

On the financial end, I’ve recently been building some related spreadsheets to break down & track rolling / monthly nutrient expense adjusted by reservoir size. I mean variable field for gallons rez, adjusts all individual nutrients (that I’ve selected) appropriately. Electric & gas graphed, year over year, with significant equipment changes noted. (420w T5 off, 1kw HPS on).

Kinda trying to tighten things up, all around. And I don’t recall who said, “If you wish to improve, first you must measure.” Anyway, that’s what one comes up with if one’s mind is like a sack of angry cats.

Here is the sensor data. The sensors are about 5" above and below the top of the canopy.
1st graph is the data above the canopy. It shows there is a 28 point humidity swing!

2nd graph shows a 12 point humidity swing. Its interesting that the relationship between temp and humidity is less clear here.New Bitmap Image (2).jpgNew Bitmap Image.jpg

Kind of weird the 2nd graph shows lower temps during lights on.

Just look @DoubleAtotheRON plants compared to mine. Tall, big buds along the whole tray. And they are 7 days younger than my plants!
Just goes to show a Pro + regulated environment can't be beat.
I get frustrated looking at plants like this and then scratching my head wondering why I can't do the same.

Hey, man. Rome wasn’t built in a day. You’re clearly a smart guy.

I went a long time not understanding how a very tight environment would make such a dif in my weed. Now I’m getting a little obsessive about it. My yield was (& is) way below top growers, & I’m beginning to see the opportunity for improvement. I’m now confident that I’ll soon get much closer to those gifted growers. Some of these fuckers been growin for decades. Some come from agricultural backgrounds.

Hell, I’m stoked just because I’m beginning to better use this forum as a resource. It, & y’all are a priceless resource.

Day 33. I realized my dehuey wasn't running all day due to a full bucket. Which may explain why I had such a large humidity swing above.
The structure of these plants is a lot nicer than my last few sets of plants.
You n I both need to elevate our fuckin dehumidifiers! I swear mine will be off the floor before the end of the month.

What are you using for light?

Day 55
I looked at all the plants a little more closely and those spots are only on 25 percent of one plant. Pretty sure I'm never going to figure it out. Noticed a couple leaves that are starting to taco. I think I'm going to *try* to stop worrying about how the leaves look at this point.
I'm starting to feel like I knocked this out of the park...hopefully they smoke as good as they look.
Dont worry about the leaves at this stage, they have no use anymore at all..

I'm using DIY lights. I need to pull it down and add some plastic conduit I bought to run all the wires though to make it a little safer.

Day 83 in the 2 x 3. I fished around in the center and I didn't realize how many buds had fallen over on top of each other. Starting to worry about mold now. Probably going to start chopping in the next few days. I don't see any amber trichomes but I think it will be okay.
I wasn't looking forward to harvest until I found some big chunky buds hiding in there. Party on!

Here is harvest day. I'm not too happy with the harvest I guess because I could have done better. But, next time will be better! (probably) :)

I unfortunately did some concrete grinding in one of my bathrooms last month and despite my best efforts, concrete dust went everywhere in the house. It was one of those, well, I can just grind a little bit to get the toilet to sit flat. And it turns into a ton of grinding. So I decided to wash my buds using the 3 bucket method and some baking soda and lemon juice in the 1st bucket. I'm happy with the results so far.
