I bought a T8 fluorescent plant grow light from lowes it's 22" long with 15 watt bulb, bulb looks kinda purple and I was wondering if this will work for cloning.

Just a single bulb? A fixture of several lights would be fine. I would go with CFLs over a single 15w fluoro tube though.

Clones don't require much light, but you'll want to move them quickly once they root. How many cuttings?

Will it root faster with stronger light? Also my rockwool is still really wet and it's been 7 days. Went to lowes and saw this light it says T8 fluorescent plant grow light and I thought it would be better than the cfl I was using and it's not as bright as the 6500K clf bulb that I was using but seems like it's got good enough like for the clones.
