I don't know what it is about this thread but it takes forever and a day to load and usually ends up freezing up my old ass computer...

The plants look great, they're frosting up nicely! Assuming they will take after their mother strains, they should pack on most of their weight in the last few weeks of flowering. Hows the smell so far? I'm already excited about the next update lol!

As for the #4, i have never grown the #4 but i have two friends who have. One of them pulled off an immaculate grow and only tested in the high 10% CBD range while the other had a pretty rough time with his grow and had some pretty beat up looking plants but tested 14% CBD. Going over all the results on Iron Labs website it seems that #4 ranges anywhere from 8%-15% CBD, with the majority being in the 10%-14% range. Looks like 11.31% seems to be fairly average, good for a first run!

Plant #1 smells a lot like the #4. Plant #2 hasn't put much smell out yet.
P1 has an old school Sativa look to it

It's because the images are so big. The forum software should downsize them for faster loading but it seems it doesn't. Users could do it themselves before they upload photos but not everyone may know how.

Yep....i thought RIU could handle the larger size pics because it always has before. I will start reducing the size myself. Sorry about the problems.

The Cannatonic yields well, it displays all the classic sativa traits, big fluffy buds that are very greasy with terpenes (yes greasy, not sticky like most strains), horizontal branching like a pine tree (your P#2 seems to be displaying this structure in your pics from 12/15). Yes, both strains around 9-10 weeks.
How do you find the Cannatonic as far as feeding goes? I picked up another clone of it and I have come to the conclusion that this plant just does not do well in my soil mix. Is it temperamental when given too much Nitrogen? I'm thinking of cutting my mix with some additional peat moss but wanted to get some feedback from you before playing around with it.

I've come to the conclusion that it's not as much an issue of feeding as it is an issue of watering. She is only happy when the soil is dry and very light waterings are administered, a heavy watering will burn her leaves the same way too much nutrients will.

The C4 i just grew seemed to like heavy feedings and looked like it could have taken more nutrients then i gave......curious. Are you using a different cut of Cannatonic?

That would be the issue then. It started looking fugly a couple days after I gave it a good drench.

I went in and had a good smell of plant 1 yesterday and the smell has changed quite a bit. It had been smelling like the C4 i just grew to a tee and i was disappointed because I do not like that taste. But, it has really changed for the better. Now im smelling a Starburst Cherry like smell mixed in with a dank kush like smell. At this point it smells wonderful.......i hope it stays that way.

Plant 2 still smells like Cannatonic 4 and it has a very different look to it as well.

Pics later.....

Sorry, ive been very sick for the last two weeks and haven't updated any of my journals in a while.
I havent been this sick in years. Lost almost 15 pounds and could barely care for my garden. 2014 was a rough year and 2015 has started with a bang.....can't wait to see what happens next.

I cut a few branches at 56 days and will have it tested along with the later harvest. It should be dry in a day or two and i will give it a sample myself. I will also get those promised pictures.

DAy 63...harvest day plant #1.
Plant 1 is now completely down and drying.

I had some issues with this grow due to health problems but it still came out pretty well. Plant 1 and 2 seem to react to feeding very differently but ive kept notes so the next run should be much better.

Ive also had problems with my camera so the photos are not my best. I bought a brand new pack of batteries and put them in the camera, the screen went black and told me to put new batteries in before i took the first photo. Guess i need to buy the more expensive batteries from now on.
I managed to get a few shots by constantly changing the batteries i had.....it seemed if i switched them around i could get one photo at a time.

Ive had a few tastes form this plant and it definitely tastes better then the Cannatonic #4 and the high is there too.....more later.

Plant 2 at 63 days...it comes down in the morning.
This one really surprised me in a good way. In the last few weeks of flower it really started looking and smelling nice. Hopefully, it has even less of the C4 taste to it and by the smell right now i would think it will.

IMO your one of the best journalist on this site. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the kind words...i appreciate that a lot.

I'm writing the full smoke report and should have it finished in the next day or two.
In the meantime, here is the lab report and final weights.
