Yeah, it's weird because my moms was a tea drinker also. Plain old Lipton for her. If she was feeling adventurous some Constant Comment. But for whatever reason I never liked it when I was younger. It really all started for me a year ago in China as there was not much else to drink. Besides beer. Which I too drank alot of. I blame my late start on my moms addiction to SweetnLow. :-P

lmao, i think all mom's use sweet and low.. years ago, it was sachrin, then they came out and said it was a carcinogen, so i figured i'd take my chances with plain old sugar ( not that i ever used sachrin or any sugar substitute before)..

Lol, Yes, Yes real sugar for me too. We've actually been using raw rock sugar we get at the Oriental Market on the cheap. It takes alittle while to dissolve but ya gotta let it steep anyways. And no racism it actually is called Oriental Market. :smile:

i'll never understand how the word oriental is considered racist by some people.. that area of the world was called the orient for centuries, so i don't get it..
i once saw an asian comedian and she used the word oriental, and was like, oh snap, didn't mean to offend myself, lol..

i found some tea with orange chunks and this place in town tells what looks like homegrown tea's . i need a kettle but after the last one i had. it will be hard to top that.wooden handle, all steel , rivet edges at the top rivet triangle spout small blue plastic stone for the hatch. found at a thrift shop said it was made in italy.
