Tell me about your Bicycle

Judging from the kits I presume they're together and there was no animosity in the water bottle shower. I'm not a fan of bike crashing scenes no matter what, kinda feel it viscerally.
Come try to take quiet walk on our inter urban "hiking trail". Total idiots in costume wreaking havoc. Full bore 29th gear from behind and no warning. Odd how many did bite it when trying to look back as people expressed their appreciation.
Lifetime biker. I respect the ones being respectful. Only wish the ones not another hobby.

No doubt there are a lot of obnoxious kitted up cyclists out there (ugh, MUPs, no thanks).

I've really gotta get off my ass and fix my primary bike. It's been sitting for almost two years because of a minor mechanical issue that I've had the parts for most of this time. I signed up for a fairly challenging cycling event at the end of the summer so I should probably spend some time in the saddle preparing (I do run every day so I expect I'll be fairly well prepared in terms of cardiovascular fitness).

I'm just trying to walk over a few miles. Should be on my bike. May be easier therapy.
Get out while you can. Never assume you have the right of way. Cell phones seem to for a decade now. And obey the rules while being courteous and announcing your approach to pedestrians in advance. "Passing on your left" is always good. Be safe and get healthy with all.

P.S..
Those spandex idiots cry about vehicles not respecting them as the self righteously terrorize foot traffic.???????????????

Yeah, I'm not gonna go too far down that road. I was a bike messenger many moons ago and rode the streets of Boston for decades, and the way motorists treat cyclists is pretty messed up. Keep in mind bicycles are vehicles in Massachusetts and have the same right to be on the road as any other vehicle. I can't really comment on other cyclists behavior without seeing it. Lots of people are entitled jerks no matter their means of conveyance.

Thankfully I moved out to the sticks. Don't really run into those issues much out here.

Boston rears its ugly head again.?
Happy and glad you are out. Sticks will knock some sense into you. Peace. 002.jpg

Instant karma is a b**** but I do feel bad for the guy with a camera though he didn't do anything
I thought he was following the crowd. And was that not to capture the victims response to random recklessness. Damn this ain't funny no more. Damn.........................................................................................................

I haven't had a chance to watch the video yet but I saw some post this morning about a commuter-cyclist "taking the lane" and holding up a line of Trucker Convoy trucks who were attempting to mess up everyone's DC commute (did they not know DC already has some of the worst traffic?)

Vehicular cycling FTW.

PS: I had to watch, on an Xtra-cycle to boot? Thank you Mr Cyclist, you made my day.
