Temp goes from 81.5 to 69.0

Moochbuds- Here are some pics of my current 400w grow at week 4 of veg. My temp varies between 75-82 during the day and between 64-70 with the lights off, and my girls do just fine. One note though-I've been told that the strain I'm growing (opium) likes cooler temperatures, so dropping down to the low 60's might not work as well with the strains you're growing.
wow perfect info ty ty +rep btw your plants look very good bro.

Hey, good question at one point i was worried about the same thing. The best info ive come across is to let your plant tell you what they like, im on my third grow and this grow is doing extreemly well, at only 28 days flowering long bud sights much fatter than before and snow all over these girls. As long as my plants are thriving im ok my temps are constantly at 82-83 lights on and 65-68 lights off my light is 3" from the tops of the most high cola, no stress no burns no trouble check them out in my sig..your girls wil tell you when something is wrong! I have had on occasion extreem temp changes of more than 20 deg high low, the main thing is to be aware of it..Peace

Hi there,

My advice is to never let your temp drop below 70.

Make your thermometer is right next to your plants and not on the wall somewhere!

If your temps get over 80 and stay under 90 while your lights r on they actually like it better and it opens up the roots for all that CO2 intake! Lights off never under 70 but it is good for the plants to actually have that elevated heat and bit of a drop while they sleep..... People are obviously letting it drop below 70 and if you have a hearty strain thatn it shouldn't be too much of a problem as they are more resistant.
well I am not going to argue over 2 degrees so agreed, temps begin to slow the rate of growth at 78F unless you are using enhanced Co2

I've been tracking the temps for my plants and it typically will reach about 90F with the lights on (fan constantly blowing on them) and about 70F lights off. They seem to be thriving so I am not going to worry until I need to.

The first 2 photos show my first plant in the rear at 3 weeks with the other 4 plants anywhere between 4-9 days. The other 2 shots are of the same larger plant taken a couple days ago. Since then it has grown another inch. I have no idea how large these are supposed to grow to before becoming sexually mature.

Looking really healthy, 6 of my plants are 4 weeks old and not as big as yours! I am following everything right, I think some strains are quicker than others! What do you have there?
