Beautiful. Got some Chernobyl like 7 years ago at a cannabis festival and to this day is still one of my favorite smokes. Same guy had some Blueberry Diesel too which was incredible, never seen anything like it since.

Here is what I got left of the seeds I ordered about a year ago. I didn't forget about the Sweet Tea. I'll get to it one of these decades.

Vanilla Tart. It's been in here over 10 weeks, just chilling in the corner, having a heat stroke under the 1000. I'm not gonna lie, it got neglected. Still smells awesome though and kept clones for next time. I had a delay in trimming recently. Anyone else doing this strain? It has much better potential than these pics.


Chernobyl. I highly recommend everyone doing this from seed to cut clones. The one I have can handle heat very well. Outdoors it does not like the cold North. Warmer areas I don't know. In a controlled environment it has potential to turn some amazing colours. My Avatar is an old pic. That fan leaf was like a beautiful violet blue.

I’ve got nine Pandora’s Box above ground with six of them growing strong.
The other three had issues getting out of their shells, but I worked hard to make sure they made it, even if they’re lagging behind a bit.

I also had three sets of twins from seed during germination.
Jack the Ripper genetics are well known for producing lots of twin offspring, so it makes sense to see this trait so dominate, in a JTR BX.

Pulled 2 Vortex phenos out before the lights went off this morning...

Vortex #10 day 25
She's one of the 3 shortest plants. No perfume, nothing sweet....smells just like lemons. I have 3 other phenos that are giving off a strong lemon smell but they are much taller and look different.

As far as smell on this one, she's not a strong one. Very light perfume smell. Nothing exciting yet.


Out of the 13 phenos, I'll be running 11 first generation cuttings of them again, here shortly, They're vegging now. There are 2 in the bud room that aren't impressing me, so I already killed the clones. That makes 11.

Here's a few buds of Chernobyl from my last grow...

The Jillybean clones I ran were way different than the mother from seed. Terpenes were stronger. Vap O Rub strong!!!

Absolutely. This is why I'm taking my time and doing this Vortex hunt the correct way.

These Pandoras Boxes are three weeks old and doing well.
All kinds of different phenotype variants here.
Most plants are staying pretty squat though, more so then expected, but I’m not complaining.

I've been harvesting the past few days and a few more will be coming down in the next week. When I get home from work, I trim as much as I can, then I just gotta stop. Get the shits of it. There's alot.

The one obvious mistake I made w/ these seed plants, was that I vegged them way too big/tall. Boy, they really stretched and are falling over alot, even w/ the stakes. I'm really looking forward to see how the 1st generation clones do in bud. For whatever reason, some of the old TGA strains get better w/ clone generations. I just put 6 1st gen cuts in bud 2 days ago...so we'll see.

Almost looks like Space Bomb to me. Smells like perfume/banana chips w/ a little lemon in the background. I still have to get the wife to smell it for me, she's better at describing.

Vortex #13 Day 50 Pine and lemons all day long.

First gen cutting of Vortex #8. A few days into 12/12. Cleaned up the bottoms and staked up the branches.

The buds of #8 are still a little moist. I like to dry 'em until they're crispy/dry but not so much it turns to dust. I can't deal w/ wet pot. Before I smoke it for the first time, I'm gonna not smoke anything for a day or 2.

Vintner's Moonshine x Space Dude seed plants

With my pot, the most important thing is the smell. Then potency and a distant 3rd would be the taste. That's just me.

When I saw the Weed Nerd episode where Sub went to Nor Star's garden and was taken back by the smell of the Vintner's Moonshine and then Odie Diesel said it smelled like rubbing alcohol.....it got my attention and was hoping for the longest time, they would cross it w/ Sub's males. I got my wish.

All the seed plants look like the mother....I don't see any space queen, at least yet...but what do I know? Definitely different looking Marijuana plants than I'm use to seeing/growing. Very short/stocky/indica.

Here's a Chernobyl cross I made with a 24k gold mother. My Chernobyl dude was a skunky bushy plant. Sorry my pics are shitty. Day 42 in bloom.

Bloodberries. Very thick nugs and I haven't used any CO2 in a long time. I couldn't let it go longer than about 9 weeks. On that 3rd picutre on the right I peeled back part of a nug. Anytime I have buds that get like that, they will eventually develop bud rot. I can't really add any air flow because it's already a bit on the strong side. I swore as it was growing I smelled a Jesus OG like smell but now I don't smell it. Im thinking I was mistaking and maybe still had the smell on my hands from breaking up buds before smoking. Or from molesting a different plant with a similar smell. It smells and tastes a lot like the Chernobyl I been growing for years. I don't even notice any OG smell or flavor at all. Maybe a Bloodwreck pheno? I never had Bloodwreck or even smoked it so I don't have a way to compare.
