Update Feb 28. Just wanted to show the difference between the two Tasmanian Skunk. The Skunk on the left has 2 main tops and the skunk on the right has 4 tops. I have been feeding aprox. 1000ppm every few days and a few plain PH'd waterings between feedings. The Skunk with 2 tops and the Cherry Cordial OG with 2 tops still have lush green fan leaves and much fuller buds. The skunk with 4 tops is less developed and is yellowing from nitrogen depletion. This means i could probably have fed the Skunk with 4 tops more than I fed the other 2 plants but I decided to keep all 3 feeds the same just to see what happens.

Here is the yellowing on the Tas. Skunk on the right. Right on time as far as I am concerned. It's starting week 4 so this is a little early but it's acceptable for me. I'm not going to add any nitrogen at this point.

Clones Before...

Clones After taking more Clones..

New Clones.. 30 days or So out from this harvest so these are the new recruits!

As always thanks for watching and following.. Reply with any questions or comments. I appreciate all the feedback!

My friend I just read you post that said you are feeding them at 6.9 and your run off I'd 5.9 . Wouldn't than mean the soil pH is lower than 5.9 in order to drag the pH of the run off down that far?

As a reminder for every1.. I am growing in 50% peat moss and 50% perlite. I use DynaGro Grow and DynaGro Bloom and MagPro mainly for nutrition. I also have Roots Organic and H&G supplements that I use here and there. The peat moss is acidic so I PH my feed to 6.9 to 7.0 and it comes out (run off) at 5.9 to 6.0 at the root zone. I PH up with PH up or baking soda.

I have grow a bunch of sub cools gear . You can find him sometimes in the organic section on this site,
I learned a lot from him about dirt growing. I like pH drift. But I put garden lime in the media , set the pH low and let it drift through the pH ranges .
If I poured in 7 pH and it came out are 5.9 I would shit myself assuming the media pH is around 5 .
5 and being stable at 5 would lock the plant out, unless it ranges back up

Update for March 3rd. Ran into an issue.. I began to notice burnt leaf tips. I did a runoff test and had salt built up in the pot. PH was low. I did a mid-flower flush with ALOT of plain water and got the plants back under 600ppm runoff and right at 6ph. Also while the skunk was out of the tent I did some more pruning of dead leaves and unproductive flowers.

I ordered a 15w screw in LED bulb to replace 1 of the cfl bulbs. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01NCVWFUE

Keep ya posted!

Okay so Ive been wanting to answer your post about the skunk. Problem is the aroma is very complex and I have trouble putting it into words... the 2 phenos smell slightly different... i want to say.. earthy, mellow, like an island breeze, with the hint of skunk and pine at the end. Strangely pleasant and makes you take another wiff over and over again.

Thank you. I am a big fan of the old school skunk

It has been a while since I posted an update. The new led screw in bulb is making a difference.

Skunk below (infront of screw in led bulb)

This is the same Skunk plant but this bud is not getting extra light from the screw in bulb.

The other Skunk plant (on the right with 4 tops)

This plant has more sativa like qualities. It is not going to finish at the same time as the other Skunk. No orange hair yet. Still pumping out new white hairs.

Here is a pic of the entire tent. Cherry cordial og center

I got a 600w galaxyhydro led for the next run to add into the tent. More updates to follow

Week 1 update. Goal for this grow is to double the yield of the last cycle. The plants are well trained and I have over a dozen main tops. The plants began their initial flower cycle stretch a day or two ago.

Two Tasmanian Skunk on the left. Cherry Cordial OG on the right.

Had to move my scrubber from the floor to the ceiling of the tent to pull the hot air out. The 600w galaxy hydro runs warm and is generating temps in the 90s. Later after this pic I also had to pull the prefilter because it was dirty and reducing out flow. Plants got spaced out and tied down further.

Update for April 16th. Plants have been pruned back and most bottom fan leaves removed. Main bud growth is on track. Many tops.

Yeah your plants look great. My tent got too hot and dry and my plants really suffered this round. I just switched from days to nights to try and get the temps down.
