lol thats pretty big! but its gotta be that big. gotta get it up in the air can gotta have lots of downforce to keep that car from exiting the corners backwards lol!
lol, yeah, it looks ok on that porsche, but only because i know it's a race car.. i always lol at the cars you see out and about that have the retarded big wings on them and you know they've never seen a track in their lives..

i really don't like the new style of f1 cars.. in person they're super small, and the rear wings are super tiny to say the least.. i think they can't come out past the wheels or some stupid shit now.. i liked them better when they were a bit bigger tbh... they just look to cartoonish now imo..

I totally agree. The small rear wing looks fucking dumb. The cars should be small, low, and have unlimited aero development. The reason I loved BMW's 2008 entry was because they aeroed the shit out of it. The front wing was sculpted, there were chimneys and winglets aplenty, and the car sat low and wide... The rear wings look amazing in retrospect. I am waiting for the return of FULL aero packages. It will happen eventually, when they realize that it was that aspect of F1 that made it sexy- huge money in amazing machines... To think- they could be so much better! Active aero, assisted downforce, unlimited engine development....
I dream of an F1 powered by Hydrogen- just imagine... Well, at least they got rid of the stepped noses..

Dude. Four world champions that could realistically win the championship. Wait.. Five! Button with mclaren.. Has a real shot. Alonso with Ferrari, no joke either. Raikkonen came out swinging and landed a solid hit last night... Hamilton has a shot, I'm telling you- 3rd qual, 5th finish... Strong. And we all know its Vettels game to lose...
This season has some serious potential. Lots of good racing, I forsee. I am still rooting for Hamster, i think they will have what it takes. But I would be totally satisfied to see Kimi get the crown again.

lol at hamilton having a shot, that's some funny stuff. i got a good laugh out of it though... :D

the mercede's seems to still be doing the typical thing, qualy good, and go backwards in the race.. not really surprised though.. too bad it was rosberg's mb that went kaput, and not lewis'.. oh well, it's a long season, i'm sure he'll have his share of break downs.. :D:D

hat's off to kimi though.. i'm not a fan, but he drove a good race.. was shocked to see how bad rogro did though tbh... nice to see the red cars doing well so early too.. :D

Hey so long as we don't see too much of Vettel up front, I'm good. I just like to know that it's the driver winning the race and not the car so much.. But we both know the odds are stacked in Vettels favor here, I might well just say that I think he will be champion again. But I'm still rooting for my underdogs.
Who's your pick this year? Alonso? I read in F1 mag that he would be Ferraris 10th world champion, that's some rarefied air right there... Btw in this months issue, Steve machett said hammy has a good chance, are you eating? I don't want to make you lose your lunch lol. Is it his stupid hair? The little earring he wears (come on lewis..)? Why do you dislike him so much?

i honestly don't see lewis having a shot, and i'm being honest and not just doing my usual hate.. although the mb has obviously improved, it still is way too hard on it's tires and seems to still be going backwards once the lights go out.. hammy only would have come in 6th if he hadn't gotten around sutil, and that was only because that thing was gong backwards faster then the mercedes tends to, lol.. 6th isn't that great considering he started 3rd on the grid.. and we see what happened to rosberg in the other silver arrows..

i do like vettel, but i agree, i don't want to see another year of the red bulls up front.. how can you get behind red bull? a company founded on shit energy drinks, lol.. i still prefer my old stand by, the scuderia ferrari, a company that builds road cars so they can go racing, not sell sugary drinks for their real gig..

what is it about hamilton that bothers me so much?? man, it's rather hard to put me finger on it exactly, i think it's a bunch of small stuff that all add up for my hatred of him.. i can't stand listening to everyone say how he's the best, if you want someone to pass someone, lewis is your man, blah blah fucking blah...
i hate how arrogant he is, how nothing is ever his fault, and everyone else sucks, just not him.. it's a team sport, you win and lose as a team, not just win with them.. you have to take your lumps and not publicly come out and point fingers imo..

i hate hearing him come on the radio and say wtf was that, i'm giving up, the car sucks, blah blah blah.. again, these things should only be said behind closed doors, take your multi million pounds and put on a smile even when the car breaks down, or the mechanic forgets to put the wheel nut on right, then go back to woking and rip them all you want...
and i do hate his earings.. i thought that you couldn't wear jewelry in f1? oh, but i guess lewis is special, so of course he can do it..

oh yeah, forgot one big thing.. how on earth can he say he knows how to develop a car when for as long as he's been driving, there has been no in season testing? just exactly how does he develop a car again?

lol, ok, i'm sure i could go and on, but that's a few bullet points..

nah, i think they always used unequal ones back then for tuning reasons i always thought.. it's a small block chevy i'm pretty sure.. 500 some hp, it's the mclaren can am car, those things were monsters..
Avoided the "two-stroke powerband" issues in some of those highly-tuned engines iirc ... cn

i'm pretty sure no one here really likes them, but i was watching this show last night on the development of the new srt dodge viper, that thing looked pretty bad ass..
they're getting it ready to compete in the petite le mans series i guess next year again...
I discovered this weekend that Chrysler had a cool car in the works, a potential Veyron-slayer. ~sigh~ cn

man, i just found what looks to be a tuner shop in my town that i never knew existed before.. sitting out front was a 911 and a nissan gtr and a couple of supra's..
was gonna stop on the way back home and snap a few pix of the gtr, but traffic was heavy and it was on the other side of the highway so i didn't.. :(
