The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

An 8bar setup with the closer spacing towards the edges, would be without a doubt my first choice.
Especially since they've incorporated the 385nm LG diodes, 730nm FarRed, and 660nm PhotoRed. Bit sure if they've got any 430"ish" Blues too, but that'd be absolutely perfect for me.
For the price point the technology is unmatched. I almost went with hlg for the simplicity and warranty but in all honesty it's a 4x4 to see if I can replace a 600w hid for led and I wanted to cover the most amount of space possible.

So I came across this par reading by geeklight official on youtube. Now as far as I can see these numbers look fairly reliable. Gives me some relief...any thoughts.
Even if their numbers were slightly padded/adjusted (like everyone else) I’m sure your light will grow dank.

Got to have multi channel on those too and independent dimmers on them. For the win.

Are they multi channel?

Two 240 watt boards would easily replace that and give better spread.

So wait... You have or will have a GeekLight?

Ok I’m going to post a neutral review that could go either way on Meijiu later.

I ordered the MJ-660 from them and everything went well as usual.

Until the delivery where UPS left two drivers at my doorstep... and no light.

So I got somebodies driver and they got my light.

UPS blamed Meijiu and vice versa.

Meijiu tried the “You shouldn’t have accepted it..” which I didn’t. They left it.

And... “ we showed you a picture of boxes we sent it so it’s UPS fault. “. Yeah, that’s not logical.

So somebody messed up and I have no light and quite frustrated.

Still it’s a neutral review as Meijiu has been helpful so I can’t quite go off on them yet.

I’ll update as to whether Meijiu gets me my light, or screws me over.
UPS literally left my 3 giant boxes with my mj650’s on my front lawn. I was at work at the time and I work until midnight so I had to leave work and go home to bring my lights inside before they got stollen. They would’ve sat out there until midnight if I hadn’t.

They’re not the same they’re just the same footprint same everything but the H version has a different phosphorus coding which produces a different spectrum more tailored toward the red and the 2700 and 3000 K Calvin just like 4000 5000 Calvin the phosphorus coding on those helps balance everything out to reduce the blue spike and higher Calvin LEDs to prevent plant Stunt and smaller compact from too much blue an increase is more red and the higher Calvin to equal it out I am just the opposite with the lower Calvin it hasSo Ezy basically affecting the blue to red ratio to help promote better growth from plants
Is a Calvin the same as a Kelvin?

I got over UPS years ago. The one that did it was an item I tracked all day. The truck was 2 blocks over when I got notification that my package was delivered. I live 1/2 mile from my UPS hub. I drove over there showed her the notification and the app showing that the truck wasn't on my street yet. She told me to give it time. So I call Amazon, after hearing my story tells me that my package was delivered.

Anyhow tip of the day. Whenever I buy something that ships via UPS I send it to:
My Name
General Delivery
Anytown, USA #####
(edit) Use your real name, General Delivery, your real city, and your real zipcode. The General Delivery and lack of street address is why it stays at the hub(done edit)

That way my package stays at the HUB until I pick it up. Since my street is the last one on the route my packages came between 5 and 9pm. Nothing sucks than waiting all day for a delivery. Now I pick them up on my schedule

They leave them on my front porch, after a ring.

Meijiu has been more helpful thus far than UPS, and its UPS’s mistake.

Doris (Meijiu) was kind enough to answer my replies during her off hours before work.

UPS has kept me on hold for hours.

Anyways looks like packages are being swapped and I’ll be able to throw that MJ-650 in soon enough.

Wassup guys.
So far my only issue is that the 730nm and UV LEDs aren't on a separate driver, so they only illuminate when the rest of the board is on.
I was hoping to have the 730s run after lights out to switch the plants to flower, like the far red initiators do.
Even so, all is well. Daytime temps have been too low if anything, these run so much cooler than a 600 hps its unreal.
Also the fact that the plants are all evenly lit has meant that I have left lower growth this time, which I would have usually trimmed away as it would have been in shadow. Not now though, the plants are all lit up and are looking great.
They aren't drinking as much though, due to the low temps, I need to warm it up somehow

I’ve found the last 2 runs I tried not running a heater as I usually do to up my temps I just upped my humidity to get within the VPD for lower temps and all was well.

You can just sign up for UPS MyChoice, and make a selection to have all items delivered to your address to be held at a local pickup point.

Tried that while package was on route. Only gave me the option to do that once the first delivery was attempted.

And as I said the first delivery was attempted and they left it on my lawn

You have to set it in your default settings, so they always do it automatically. The setting is a bit buried, I forget where they put it exactly.
