So unfortunately the blues died on one panel on my geeklight, they attempted to help me diagnose the problem and offered to send me the replacement PCB. I opted out of it for now and took credit for another light I'll get from them in the future.

Do you have any pics of the PCB disassembled from the light?

If anyone is placing an order on alibaba anytime soon you may want to consider biting the bullet on air freight. I placed an order on 7/20 and received it 9/26 via express sea. Last order via sea freight took 42 days from the day of placing the order. No such luck on this one. Here's a log of the tracking:

Good day all. Been running meijiu boards for past two years and upgrading to the meijiu strip lights next month, just spent the past two hours looking over some of this thread and seen some of you guys using the F8 650 and A8 650 I just want 3500k with red, apart from the F8 being foldable and the A8 probably cheaper to ship is there much difference between them, does one have more diodes than the other or slightly better par coverage? I've tried looking over the lights on their alibaba page some of the F8 lights look the same but give different par map so thought I'd ask the people actually using the lights.

I think @bk78 runs meijiu strips, he might know. Shipping on these strip lights is usually expensive and not airfreight and there's some very long waits in logistics/shipping. If you want your lights before Xmas it might be a better deal to just buy the strips and have them sent by air, get a driver locally (actionable warranty! It sux shipping your driver to china if it fails) and figure out hanging yourself with some Alu profiles. Shipping on these lights usually is a couple of 100$ so it might be useful to do price comparison with shipping included and compare to what you can get locally.

Edit: I'd also rec to speak to Mandy Xiao at meijiu, they have some Halloween deals on strips lights I just got an email about it.

I don't mind the wait on the lights I won't be putting any plants in my room until the end of November so I could always use my boards until the strip lights turn up. Ive just asked Rita over IG, she linked me to a light with lm281 diodes when I said I wanted 301's guess they must be trying to sell off some old stock lol

I run just the regular F8’s. The A8 has about 500 less diodes than the F8 so that’s what you see on the par map is my guess?
