It's also more expensive for a club to buy a pound and sell it buy the ounce than it is a street dealer. Street dealers have no overhead expenses. It costs tens of thousands of dollars a month just to keep a club open.

trust me, its kinda hard to get a lie past me..been smoking for 12years and pushing for 10years so i've seen alot of strains of weed but CERTAIN clubs are shady as fuk..i can recommend you somewhere..its called club>cali.grown>408 hollllaaaa

lol. I'm not talking about a couple of shady clubs. I'm talking about the vast overwhelming majority of clubs. As a former vendor to ~10 clubs in your city, I can say with absolute certainty that it's happening at most of the top clubs in your area.
You might very well have an impressive knowledge of strains. I'm not doubting you. But even the top professionals can pretty easily be bullshitted. With the amount of crossbreeding being done now the strains out there is now counted in the thousands, not hundreds. It's unlikely that you can distinguish all of them by looks/smell. The best in the business can't. It's pretty easy to spot GDP, trainwreck, sour D, etc. But when you get into the less common, it's not so easy.
Believe me or don't, doesn't matter but it's a fact that most clubs will switch names/pricing to move a pack that isn't selling well. Not a couple of shady clubs, most clubs. That doesn't make them bad clubs, that doesn't mean they are selling shitty weed, it doesn't mean they are ripping people off. It's just business. Most successful clubs are good at business.

im like a cannabis connoisseur..pretty good with smells and looks of certain strains..and indoor or outdoor..hydro is kinda hard to tell though..it seems like the crystal heads get bigger but i only grew hydro once so im not to good with the dro

These 18-19 year old kids don't know the difference at all. If the budtender says it's fire or dank they're sold.

SO true! on 4/20 at least twice right when someone walked in they said, ohh I only want to see the top shelf. I laughed to my self! got a gram of med grade "jack h" at one place (420 special $5 gram) and the guy said "good choice! thats the best we have, people have been passin on it because it isn't stinky!"

Yep. It's pretty easy to fool people. I'd bet I've been fooled many times and never realized it. Hell, even Oaksterdam has been selling "707 headband" as one of their featured strains and they still haven't figured out that it really isn't headband at all. lol
I can pretty easily identify the ~100 strains I've grown. But even with popular strains I've seen several times and smoked before, I'm not sure I could identify them all with a high degree of accuracy.
If someone handed me a bag of master kush and told me it was kings kush, I'm not sure I would realize it. Those are both long time mainstream strains. Now if I can't do something as basic as that, no way the average club customer will.
You guys are all talking about San Jo well dont get me wrong I am not an employee or anything but the only club in San Jo that I have found worth going to is Emerald Crossing. They grow all their own shit, and sell clones of everything they grow. Their chem-4 is the strogest sativa I'v ever had. This club has the best weed I have seen in the bay and the best part is 50 1/8 is the most expensive it gets.

check out Eko fresh..get cool with the females and they hook u up everytime (i get free joints and grams all the time even when its not a deal day) another cool one is ARC HEALING they got the best/healthiest clones i have EVER SEEN..i noticed there the ONLY club who keeps humidity domes over the plants..HARBORSIDE has good clones to and a great big selection of every and anything u can think of but there prices are kinda high and no deals really..ELEMENTAL WELLNESS is also a good club just like harborside, shit its exactly like harborside.

I agree. I see people buying shitty wine and beer all the time, and I wish they wouldnt, but I dont really give a fuck. Some people have bad palates and dont denote the taste in smoke enough, and some people don't feel (or are as sensitive to others) the differences in buzzes between different strains. And people in drier climates that have only tried mmj from that area generally don't have the palate of people that smoke in more humid areas because terpenoids and cbds and other compounds etc dry out/die off , mendecino county and san bernardino county are two worlds apart
