well, i have the seed germing, and i forgot i ran out of soil, i have a bunch of perlite but no money, .50 cents in the account. so i need something now, so its ethier plant straight in perlite or start with some soil from outside. i figure i have a day before i need to plant her.

do the perlite im broke to i understand just make sure the sprout does not dry out. keep humidity high until the sprout has deep roots and is established.

well right now, i dont have a job and am at home all the time so i can mist every 5 mins if needed. ill syran wrap the top too with holes in it to keep the humidity high.

where should i put the hole? for a bucket they say 2 inches but this is only gonna be like 34 FL OZ so i was thinking just an inch up

ok well there is a balance just dont let it dry out to much if it wilts thats bad but dont over water as you might get root rot. if your indoor use cfl's for a while you should be fine. otherwise keep in mind you can buy small bags of soil for around 3$ or so.

im only doing one hempy but i love it wish i had some 1 gal icecream buckets to tansplant my current one in

well i have a clone i was planning on planting in my usual medium which is canna terra professional but instead i did hampy bucket im using 100% perlite ( i dont mind watering it daily) and i have it in a 1 gallon container with the hole about 1 1/2 inches up im using a mh 1000w for veg its been in there for 2 days and seems to be doing fine no discoloring and its still growing at the same pace it was before hempy. i only have the neuts from my previous grow and strapped on cash for veg im using rhizotonic, cannazym and terra vega and superthrive. are these ok to use with hempy buckets? and if so should i use them at full strenght (since i just transplanted into hempy ive used only half of the recommended amount) i just want to make sure im not wasting my time can anyone help and any advice is greatly appreciated

well i planted a nice healthy germed seed in the 100% perlite, i sryan wrapped the top with a hole in it to mist. the germ was a nice healthy white half a inch long root. as long as i keep her moist i think i should be good.

i have used soil specific and hydro specific nutes in hempy either way works for me. hempy is some what of a hybrid between soil and hydro anyways.

i water every other day w/ 0ppm water and feed them 1x week.

that looks like an N deficiency. you probably need to feed at least twice a week if they're in containers that small. i just started using lucas formula and i water every 3 days, feed twice then use plain water in a cycle(feed day 1, feed day 4, water day 7). also, do you have a ppm meter/know the ppm of the nutrient solution you're putting in?
you may want to go ahead and transplant. i start out with cups that size and transplant to half gal milk jug containers around week 4.
stick around and you'll get some great feedback from these guys.

hey bc ,thnks man, yeah i been asking around and it looks like it might be a N def or container size im going to increase the micro from 5ml to 6-6.5ml but i guess that wouldent be lucas formula any longer. Im also transplating to 1 gal jugs tmr.

Thanks again.:peace:

ps: i do have a ppm meter and it reads 537 ppm (5ml microm, 10 ml bloom

right on. having a bigger reservoir should help. and if there's still an issue i'd try feeding twice a week before increasing the micro. i'd just do anything to stick to the formula and keep it simple.
