Sodium-ion battery breakthrough. Safer, cheaper and cleaner than Lithium-ion

Sodium-ion batteries have been overshadowed by lithium-ion for decades, but there's a thousand times more sodium in the earth's crust than there is lithium. And now the battery chemistry has been mastered so that sodium-ion batteries have as much energy density as their lithium based competitors. Plus sodium-ion batteries are lighter, safer, cheaper and cleaner than lithium-ion. This one really could be a gamechanger.

Scammers have ramped it up..contacted by LYFT; someone tried to access my account through phone number and pick up at random place that's not home going to a random place.

Apparently the driver noticed my face didn't match the person who got in..you can also add a pin to your pickup routine and driver can't go without that second backup in case driver isn't paying attention.

I was EM and it showed where the kid tried to get over on Customer Service too. They told him he'd have to have screen shot of docs with my name to prove he's me:lol:

This Battery Breakthrough Lets EVs Charge in MINUTES

Cost and range anxiety are key factors when buying an electric vehicle, but spending hours waiting to fast charge your electric vehicle is another major roadblock. It’s one of the most common questions I hear from non-EV owners, “how long does it take to charge?” What if we could recharge an EV battery in less than 10 minutes? Would that change your mind? Well, there’s an interesting battery breakthrough from companies like Battery Streak that may be making this fast charging electric vehicle dream a reality sooner than you think.

Maybe the refreshments table at those talks

I'd take a Geiger counter and chemical warfare quick tests with me to meet those guys and I'd wear a mask and rubber gloves, if I had to shake their hands. Any future meeting Zelinskiy has with Putin, will just an attempt to assassinate him and nothing more. They should meet in a video conference only, Vlad can't be trusted and won't want to do it do it anyway, he's not in a position to bully anybody.

What do you guys think of rainbow gatherings? I went to a few as a kid, nice hippy times, then as a teen would go to get various weird drugs and it was not really hippies anymore more just drug people. Then I didn't really think of them for like 20 years other than when I would see a painted up bus out in the wilds.

Guess they want to do one here, people don't want them to come. I am pretty ambivalent, though I lean towards no just because I think they will trash whatever area. Like a giant homeless camp, won't be an unstolen bicycle as far as the eye can see.

I'm all old n junk, should be stoked and go try to find a dmt dab pen or some drug i have never tried, but eh, I just hope they don't start any fires.

Why anyone would eat, drink or touch anything? Bring your own refreshments.

It's getting harder and harder to get news free.

I think they're okay, if earth mother breasts hanging out and confused stoned Anarcho Commies at drum circles are your thing. I got stuck at one in Vermont a few years back, when I gave a young adventuresome friend a ride there.

The plan was I was going to give him a ride, hangout for an hour or three, and then leave, he'd stay and find a ride home. Turned out a brake line on my car was leaking, and the way out had a helluva long steep hill (downhill) to traverse. Didn't want to risk driving down it with a leaky brake line and oncoming darkness.

Ended up. sleeping in a tent, alone, with a tree root system under the tent floor and a horde of persistent mosquitoes attacking me all night long. It was the alternative to nestling into a pile of chubby earth mothers, which may have been warmer, but hey, I'm not easy!

All (not pennies) Canadian coins will stick to a magnet.

My BIL from Sudbury was a raised bore miner - worked in Chile, Indonesia and Canada.

I take the bypass.
The sad thing is, is the US takes Canada's discontinued and recognizes it as legal tender.
