I know of one fella in states who paid $35,000 for a single cut on the condition he did not share any cuts with anyone, he had to sign some legal document to this effect.

I did have an argument with him over him slagging off all u.k weed as average stuff, the way he was bragging was as though the american's actually invented the stuff, ffs, he slagged off my knowledge, room, growing skills and genetics, this is the same person who paid $35,000 for a lemon tree cutting which was prone to herming :D saying that, $35k was chump change to this fella.

Personally I don’t believe cuts should be sold for any money.

Previously (when running mother area) I gave away clones to keep my mother producing soft stem new shoots all the time.

the way I look at it is like this.

I take a cut.

i veg that cut.

i shape and prune that cut and generally throw away the trimmings.

why would I ask money for trimmings that otherwise would end up in the bin?

Cookies offered the Creekside Crew $250k for that cut some years ago, and they declined, then Berner started badmouthing the strain. The cut is on lock, but there are plenty of S1 bag seed versions, since it throws nanners.

I'll pay $30 a cut for something special and then run it for a year or so. Saves a lot of time, knowing that someone else already did the pheno hunting for you.

25 dollars. I just buy seeds and find a pheno I like and keep growing it. Why remove all the fun of phenotype hunting?
