Thanks Bro...

I'm gonna miss having it like that all the time...

I like my daily harvest...

But ... gotta do what I gotta do...

The trees are starting to look pretty good too...

I just kinda dread having to deal with that much bud all at once...

My current 20 minute a day trim session will be missed...

is that a dwc set up ? or a drip? you are going to see substantial yeilds. Plants are trimmed and trained nicely..nice job as expected.

It's actually ebb/flow... The drip ring is just to encourage the roots to spread, since that plant was in a 1/2 gallon pot... and now she lives in a 19 gallon pot...

It will come off here in a week or so...

Thanks BH... I sure hope so...

I am stopping my SOG, and going to trees.... so I am hoping for at least one pound from each plant/light on my first attempt...

Eventually I would like to be like MBlaze and get 2 pounds per plant... but we'll see...

dont believe everything you read gypsy..........32 zips on 1 plant indoors is a lofty goal unless your using a 10'000 watt hps......and have 15 foot celings........but im sure your yeilds will be very respectfull.

Nah bro...

Regular ceiling... 2400 watts... 3 plants... 6.1 pounds...

All documented here...

https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/161675-pics-new-girls.html

Look at these from his journal...

Here is some lights off pics but then the lights started to come on as I was taking these pics. There will be many more pics to come.

This is the fattest cola of them all

I will be choppin them down some time over the next few days so I got a big job ahead of me but im lookin forward to having an empty room again with no plants to look after and worry about. I think I need a break from growing for a while and I think I deserve it so im really lookin forward to not having any plants to care for.

I had some time on my hands so I took a few lights on pics and thought id share them with you all. I didnt tie up as many colas as I usually do and it shows because every few days im finding another cola bent right over from the weight its trying to carry. I ran out of tie wire and I keep forgetting to get some more but after all this has been a lazy grow from start to finish so its all good.

Heres some more lights off pics and they may be the last pics of them before they get the chop in a few days time.

Thanks for all the comments everyone.

I have a sneak peek for you all of some of the buds after the first trim. Only 2 of the plants are pictured in these shots and they had a total wet weight of over 17lbs. It took 2 of us 11 hours (with a few breaks) to chop down and trim up. They are spread out alot more now on more screens to let them dry but I will post up some more pics of the total harvest soon.

Plant 1

Plants 1 and 2

and here is the latest monster ... he is coaching a friend do THIS...

I believe they will flower with 2400 watts and expect minimum 4 pounds...:hump:

I thought id show ya a few recent pics of the plant I gave away which is the same strain as the last grow.

Still think you need 10k watts????

those all look awesome but dont disrespect my intelligence....im far from a master grower much more a newb........ but i also know pictures can lie... and i didnt see anyplant there that had more than 7 dry oz's on it. and thats good considering only 2400 watts.........sorry man.........The biggest plant i ever had...was just under 6 dry zips....it stood 4 feet high and 6 feet around...stalk as thick as my bong ........ topped and trained like yours. 10 gallon dwc .......topped off the ppm's at 1800..... started at 1050..... gave her the whole 1200 watts (2 x 600) ..... a master could have got 12 zips from her..........either way its a far cry from 32.... add co2 could have gotten up to 14......... It was a great job and a great grow in that thread........but i just do not believe for a second that 6 lbs 8 oz. came from 3 plants under 2400 watts............. so do i think you still need 10'000 watts.......yes.

Hehehe I never get tired of looking back at the pics of that last grow

You are right that pictures do lie and pics dont really do them much justice which is why I took some pics of me standing between the plants (im 6ft). If I was only getting 7 zips off each plant I would be doing a lot wrong considering the set up and time frame. If there was only 28 zips in these pics then I would be hanging my head in shame since I had stated from day 1 that they will get a minimum of 4.5lbs from the 3 plants.

2400 watts is more than enough light to produce those yields. If I had doubled the lighting to 4800 then id confidently say that those plants would have pushed a total of over 8lbs although I dont think I would have had enough room in there to cater for that. A previous Jack Herer grow we did had over 5000 watts and the 4 plants produced over 12lbs so 10,000 watts would just be insane on 4 plants.

Heres a few size comparisons for ya and they still had about 4 weeks to go at this time from memory. The pics are all dated anyway so you can see.

And this was just one plant weighing about 9lbs wet so if that had of dried to only 7 zips I would have been amazed.

Those just window screens? Where is it located? I assume its dark, and what kind of ventilation? I assume a fan pointed directly up below the last screen? Those just clotheslines holding the screens? I love the simplicity. I'm harvesting in a week or 2 and am brainstorming ideas here. Looks good, I like it. I'd love to see more photos.
Most certainly not. Pointing a fan AT the bud will quick dry it and turn it into harsh smoke...

Agreed...

The fan you see here is actually blowing on the trim below... not at the buds... never at the buds...

I have a heater set to 70F in there and the fan helps circulate the air...
