thanks for the support guys, I have just been digging... anyways. Of the 30 clones that I took a couple nights ago.... none have died yet, :). I lost the whole last batch of clones I took a few months ago (probably because someone left the lid to the root hormone open sitting outside, :( ). I decided that I am going to put 15 of this batch outside, and flower the other 15 inside in a few weeks. I am going to take another batch of clones tonight... not sure how many though... I am growing for a good few people now and I can't remember what we set the maximum number of plants to...??? oh well I will look it up later, cuz I think its almost a thousand.... and I am only at 32 so far so no big deal. I think I am almost done negotiating a good price for all the soil I need, :). I will post about that in a couple of weeks when its transplant time. For now, babies growing roots, taking more cuttings, digging that endless hillside.... oh yeah, and I trimmed a qp yesterday...

here are those mommas. Purple kush in front of the Sensi Star. Pics were taken about a week ago. If these are going to be my monsters... Im going to have to dig a 5'x5'x4' holes to stick them in (thats a lot of costly soil!!!

Id take rhino over widow any day... but thats just cuz I have this thing about white widow genetics... sigh... I will never grow widow again (sadly)...

Good luck on getting started. There are plenty of people around to give you good advice here.... plant and grow with tender love and care and it will fill you with sweet nirvana in the end.

no, not a tough strain to grow... (its not the herb that's supposed to be the white widow, it was the lady I loved, and now I am the black widow)... long story short, emotional dealing with death of loved one and lots of WW plants... tears... but thanks to Ganja, now tears of warmth and love (well and thanks to MJK too on his better days...)... lol.... funny how bringing up WW tears deep with me.... I just can't bring myself to grow it anymore, thats all... don't particularly care to smoke it either (as I have already spread her ashes).... nevermind....

I love doing those things... I grew up doing those things.... Im pretty good at it too once I get going... earth and stones are passions of mine (as are all things part of the circle of life, your smoking bat shit, :P ). Don't you think those things would be nice to have around your garden? Especially if its a 3 mile hike to get to from a back fire road on some interestingly situated property that has a beautiful view?

it just seems like its more visible to the eye in the sky. I guess. In one of your pictures it looks like there is house right in front of your spot. I think i . But hey, if you feel comfortable with it than thats what really matters. Like i said, im in for the ride

edit: i like doing masonry work as well. Easy and fun once you get the hang of things

yeppers there's a house... still three miles hike from anywhere, :).... like I said interestingly situated... Eye in the sky in Cali? Tax payers are about ready to burn down some of those evil agencies.... damn waste. when they fly up above everyone I know holds up signs to them, :). Things like fountains etc. are a bit more difficult (especially the ways Im going to be doing it, :). The dry stack natural interlocking quartz is extremely difficult because I don't have all my tools up there (and its a long ass walk...)

Yeah, funny thinkis, when I think of the person, I can be happy, when I think of WW, I get sad...lol. I am very blessed to have what I do, and to have experienced what I have.

Thats good to hear, especially after I just spent the last 25 minutes posting complicated details about my indoor in my other journal, just to not be able to post it because I had been automatically logged out :wall:

Hopefully after 4/20 I will be able to report getting some new dank indica genetics. But for now I can show you guys recent momma pics and the first batch of babies for the outside world...
3-4 from the black tray (purple Kush) will be going out (I took that batch 3 days ago, see link in sig. for details), another 5 or 6 from the second pic (more Purple Kush), and 5 or 6 from the third will go outside (Sensi Star).

Sensi Star is the fatty Mamma, and Purple Kush is the Tall Sad Mamma... its going to cost me $400 for all the soil and soil ammendments I need to get!

Im working my ass off up there, but the quartz is slowing me down. I should have the pad cleared by this time next week, and should have plants our there in two and a half to three weeks (weather permitting)... when they go outside they will be about 1 ft tall, and will still have 3 months of outdoor veg, :)... though the plants will have the two week interruptions for breaks for the mommas between batches of clones. I plan on having taken all the clones I needed and nursed the mommas back into flowering condition by Mid July. Then I will have new genetics (maybe more of the same) to make mommies out of.
I probably won't post pics of the pad anymore until the area is clear and I am ready to move babies up there.
