So I had some heavy rain splatter up and all over my buds. There like really muddy.. dirt is just covering a whole outside layer. it sucks.

Any tips on cleaning. I tried spraying water through like a pesticide pressure sprayer and it does half way a decent job. Over time I could see it getting clean, I figured just do it early in the morning so the progressive rising of the sun would slowly dry them out.

any other ideas or tips? Thnx, much appreciated.

i had the same problem once.. not sure on how to clean them but id put mulch or rocks on top of your sol or a combo of whatever you want to keep it from happening again.. i hate that shit.

Similar problem here. Mine is done but it got rain water the last few days and I just chopped it. The outer layer is really dirty. I'm going to get to trimming but I don't want to dry it like this. I want to get the dirt off first. Should I spray it off with the hose/dip it in water??

Cant we do a water cure to get that dirt off?? Im so afraid to do a water cure. I just know I'll fuck up and ruin the whole plant.

I got dirt on my plant once and I used a paintbrush with a little water on it to clean it off. I dried the brush then dried the remaining water on the leaves but that wasn't really necessary. I don't know if this will assist you however because your plant is probably much larger than mine but then again an idea never hurts :D

You guys should wait till you harvest, and them take the water hose to the dirty buds, shake em' out good and hang em up. No harm no foul! Trust me, I've done it.

i used a 5 gallon bucket and *douched* them in it a few times, then WHIPPED them around a few times to dry.
it does suck when the wind knocks over plants, then a heavy rain splatters them in mud.
