Thinking of ditching my LED light for I-Grow 420

Any 420 users out there? I an wondering about the heat output in a grow tent.

I know there is another thread about the Igrow but it is 150+ pages and strays off the subject enough where I do no want to sort through a hundred non relative posts.

What is the consensus about this light? Seems like a good light with plenty of coverage and penetration. I do not want to go HID for numerous reasons and cost is not a factor.

FYI Will be growing in a Secret JardinII 3x3x6 tent with 4in intake and exhaust fans.

It would be a tight fit in that tent(unless going bare bulb), but would work. And be plenty of light.

There are a few guys that are true induction experts...
But my view on inductions is Indagro has the best light. And the actual induction and reflector part is cheaper too. IG's bulb is a cooler color so it doesn't have as much red as some would like for flower. Then with the pontoon addition it adds the right red(660nm) to complete their spectrum for flower. Plus the 730 initiator has benefits too.

For the whole Indagrow420 w/pontoon it's a little more total than the igrow, but you get options like a better veg spectrum(no pontoons) then the red when you want it(pontoons in flower)...as where with the igrow you are kind of stuck with the one bulb(either veg or flower).
Also things like using nichia phosphor, higher quality assembly/presentation, a company trying to always get better...all help my impression even if the base tech(the induction part) is all pretty similar. Indagrow gets/got my vote, I have their 420/pontoon combo.

Thank you for the reply and advice. Yea, I checked the measurements and actually the Igrow 420 is larger than the width of the Jardin but the walls are flexible material and I think I could make it work. How much heat does your 420 put out? I imagine it is allot less than HID but more than LEDS. Just thinking that my 4 inch fan might not be enough.

I thought the 420 could be used to both veg and flower. And if you wanted enhanced flower then you can add the pontoon. Wish I came across induction before dropping serious cash on my Lumigrow 325 LED light. Losing faith in LED's as I learned about the lack of penetration compared to Induction lights. Well I am about 2 weeks from starting my garden (from seed) and trying out the LED system. If it turns out to be a poor performer I will look into getting the 420 light.
