No plan, no organization, no brains, their body armor and guns would make them targets. WTF would they do? If they had any large scale organization or command structure it would be infiltrated. 1000 men with a leadership a plan, training and organization, could defeat a well armed mob with out organization 50 times it's size. These people are useless for Trumps purposes, he should have bought them brown shirts and spent some resources on organization! Donald couldn't organize a one car funeral.
Sadly, the observation of Internet and cell coms by the government , something I, and probably you, was horrified about during the Obama presidency in 2013, has paid massive dividends in thwarting right wing shit heads during this decade. The only way the Michigan assholes were caught was by mass surveillance of communication of key words.
In the future, the most successful anti government retribution will be without cell or Internet coms. Not sure how that works in the future, but technology is unstoppable when demand is there, just like the rest of capitalism.

Civil war is what we’re talking about: it may be quick, but maybe not: at a bare minimum we’ve got a thousand well-armed psychos in every state, ready to lone-wolf themselves into the new history books; at the worst, we’ve got 10 times that, or more. And not even a joint to take the edge off...with Proud Babies in the street, doing their best to start a fight, and no police presence at all, and a few generations who’ve been waiting for the south to rise again.

not good times: I’d love to be wrong, wrong, wrong, but it feels like a line has been crossed
I think your right and I also think it’s gonna be one hell of a ride. I just hope your country is strong enough to survive, as of right now that’s not a sure bet IMO.

Not sure if PR wants to join with the US. But yeah, DC isn't huge but neither is Rhode Island, More than removing Congressional Control, DC's people have every right to their say in their own AND national govt as the people of Vermont and Wyoming.
If nothing else Trump has shown that they need state protections from a rouge POTUS who doesn't have the same laws to consider when he sent his goon squad into DC to beat up on peaceful lawful protestors.

I don't know what will happen, but I think election day showed how little actual power Trump has to actually stir much shit up (outside of the most mentally vulnerable becoming actual domestic terrorists) outside of scaring his flock. The majority of them don't want to lose what they have and may bunker up, but I don't see them murdering their neighbors on mass.

But we won't know until Jan 21st 2021 I figure.

My neighbor is an ultra right conspiracy theory believing voter. He thinks covid19 was weaponized and sent deliberately by China, he thinks millions and millions and millions of dead people voted, I honestly think social media is too much for most humans. Many Americans have lost the ability to have their way of thinking challenged and to do so scares and insults them. They rather hear and read opinions than facts. Facts would require them to think for themselves. Its 2020 and people believe in pizza gate, and other far fetched lies. This new Republican party keeps their people in line with fear and its truly sad
we've gone too far too fast with social media but advertising content paid in rubles? double okay.

Oh, he was and is talking about you. We went over your racist issues earlier. If you want, I can drag some of those posts forward so that we can review your shitty attitude towards "others" in Canada but I'd rather not. I have a real threat to face here and haven't nearly as much energy as you do for criticizing a country in which I don't live.

I do recall you saying you were going to go away after the election. Not that I'm inviting you to go but you did say something like that.
you and only you can fix it.

For a guy who has no power he sure seems to be causing quite the shit show. Actually right now I’m thinking he holds a lot more power than you think, I hope I’m wrong :).

We are products of our conditioning, me, you too, it's what we do about it that counts the most. You obviously have been conditioned to believe a great many people hate you, I have not.
he's muslim, of course he has..if he were back in india what part of the caste would he be?

i know what part of the caste i am here in america, it's the part where you have to hire attorneys to exercise your rights after ___________________ has taken away your rights..just walking around, living your life, doing your job.

That was before I realized that half of America was driven insane with domestic propaganda, overt and latent racism and manipulated like children. This first part of the law and order tragicomedy ain't over by a long shot, that ends on Jan 20th, perhaps even sooner, if Donald goes crazier. The second half of law and order is the court room drama, the public investigations, the rats running a squealing, the trials and outcome, justice done. I've watched the crime of the century unfold for the past four years culminating in a tragedy of which I'm now apart, along with the world. I and you wanna see some truth, sunlight and justice, what we will find out will be even more shocking and disturbing than what we already know or suspect.

I was hoping for a landslide as were many, a repudiation, we got a moral failure and the last stand of the white tribe. Considering the candidates, the stakes, the record, the platforms, and lack of, the deaths, the disconnect from reality was and is stunning. A sick, dangerous society worthy of my attention, I'm beginning to get a grip on the problems and solution, others are too, Americas who are in or will be in Joe's administration, they know far more than me, now that they've apprehended the danger, like the rest of us. It will be interesting to watch them work and help too when I can.

The monster they have created is out of control now. Imagine how much fun I could have on Parlor as a Trumper, screaming for a boycott unless they call the state for Trump! You too can be a fox in the henhouse and say they are gonna cut Donald's throat and all manner of conspiracy theories, they like conspiracies, give them some.

Trump Supporters in Georgia Threaten to Destroy GOP, Boycott Runoff Elections

President Donald Trump supporters protesting the outcome of the 2020 election have a new and surprising opponent: the Republican Party.

A viral video of protesters, as well as posts on social media platform Parler, indicate that Trump supporters are looking to boycott the upcoming Georgia Senate runoff elections.

A video, shared on Twitter on Saturday, shows a protester speaking into a mic criticizing Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Utah Senator Mitt Romney, who are both Republicans. The protester calls them "traitors."

Seemingly reacting to certification from Georgia election officials that President-elect Joe Biden had indeed won the Peach State following an election recount, the protesters disavowed the GOP.

"Any Republican who allows this to happen is complicit, and we will finish you," the protester, donning a camo sweatshirt with an elephant on it, shouts into the microphone. "For any Republicans not explicitly helping Trump to 'stop the steal,' we will make sure you are never elected ever again."

Another demonstrator can be heard shouting a long "We're the new GOP."

Reading remarks off his phone, the protester in the camo vows to dismantle the party.

"If the Republican establishment stands back and stands by and allows the steal to go through, we will do whatever it takes to completely destroy the Republican Party," he said. "We will accept nothing less than a Donald Trump victory." He also accused recounts and ballots of being "fake"—yet claims about voter fraud have been widely debunked.

While in-person protests urged officials to call the election for Trump, a number of Republicans on the "free-speech" social media website Parler have demanded a boycott of the Senate runoff elections, citing a conspiracy theory about "rigged" voting machines. Screenshots shared by reporter Marcus Baram showed that people on the app accused Kemp and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger of being "RINOs"—an acronym for "Republican in Name Only"—and trying to lead to victories for Democratic candidates Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. Both Warnock and Ossoff are challenging incumbent Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, respectively.

Many of the posts bore a resemblance to language used by people who believe the QAnon conspiracy theory.

"DO NOT VOTE IN THE GEORGIA RUNOFFS, THE DEEP STATE WILL BE COLLECTING EVERYONE'S INFO. THIS IS A CHARADE, MEANT TO IDENTIFY PEOPLE WHO DON'T VOTE DEMOCRAT," one post read, which also lamented that potential victories for Warnock and Ossoff were a "small price to pay."
Awesome!

Publilius Syrus was a favorite of mine:

Good health and good sense are two of life's greatest blessings.
Anyone can hold the helm when the sea is calm.
Where there is unity there is always victory.
A rolling stone gathers no moss.
To do two things at once is to do neither.
Prosperity makes friends, adversity tries them.
A good reputation is more valuable than money.
Speech is a mirror of the soul: as a man speaks, so is he.
From the errors of others, a wise man corrects his own.
If you wish to reach the highest, begin at the lowest.

The wise man will be the master of his mind, the fool it's slave
is also attributed to him.

If your expecting the courts to save democracy just remember that tRUmp has appointed 1/4 of the federal bench and appointed 3 supreme court yes men. tRUmp and the GOP must think the american people will just roll over and take it in the ass, I'm not sure they're wrong.
