Thread got locked....

I'm baffled here. Is the subject matter really that sensitive? I thought this section of the forum was for open discussion. Perhaps I'm wrong.

I'm not writing this as a complaint, more as a concern regarding forum policy. I have no problem abiding by rules and regulations, but arbitrariness does not sit well with me. That is the same sort of nonsense that has led to fifty plus years of downright abusive cannabis laws.

"So, why is pot illegal?"
"Because we said so... That's why."
"Oh."

I'd really just like an explanation is all.

well if peeps are leaving id like to know where they are going cause the other sites are crap.............
 
As a noob to the site i found this one more helpful and theres people on frequently that will answer questions. I found almost every answer i was looking for here
 
I've always thought this was a pretty good place, a lot more friendly than some other forums out there.
 
I'm sure they're just trying to restore the positive vibe around the forum. It's been pretty rough the last few months, I wouldn't take any of it to heart.
 
I'm not, I just think that sweeping things under the rug or attempting to "quiet things down" is a bad idea. If something needs to be talked about I think it's best to talk about it, otherwise people start to speculate and speculation leads to rumor etc.
