I think i would really like a strain that smelled or tasted like bananas!! sounds like a winner to me!

That lemon lime looks great!
Thanks man!! she is a stinky one to!!

Congrats on the harvest stoney!

nice harvest and awesome pictures. getting a rubbery one....
Thanks dude!!! and I'm sorry to hear about your males.... you're right though better the sacrifice than have seeded bud with only partial potency.

Simply put, YUMM!!! Very frosty and I know what you mean about the topping, I didn't top my BCN diesel this round and I think it would have at least added an extra 5g's if I did. Either way it looks delicious man, props!

Thanks dude!! I appreciate the kind words!!! this biggest suggestion i can give ya is stick with it and don't give up! I had all those problems you just described and eventually it comes together for ya.... I have been at this for over a year now, and i still don't have it perfected. sure, I've grown other plants before but that was outdoors and years ago a grew a few times indoors so I had a good feel for gardening when i started the perpetual motion. It started out at a one a month, then two.... and so on.

If there is anyway i can help ya out just ask me! and here is some rep for stopping by!
yeaaaa. thats wat ill do.. jsut try to keep it goin. just tricky.. and once u fall behind... it takes a lil bit of time to catch bak up ya know? ive only been tryin this for a few months now ( harvesting 1 plant every 2 weeks... not growing. lol)

and aiigh man. thanks. i do have a question tho... wen u take ur clone(s).... how long do u tend to let them veg for b4 u flower them? mine always seem to take sooooooooooo long!! but then again. i take them a couple weeks into flowering as well... i kno it takes a lil longer to revert back to veg... but wen tehy do.. and they start growing. they grow SO many branches its crazyyyy! basically im monster cropping them.. anywayz. great lookin plant man.. very impressed. once again

What strain you got coming down next week? have you vaped any lil nugs of LL yet?
no, i didn't vape anything from it yet... I'm gonna vape some up tonight... i just checked and it's still a little to wet. as for next week, I have a gorgeous bubblelicicous. i didn't top or fim that one either but it is one giant tower O' bud!!!

Thanks ST!!! it's hard for me to say what i would have got if i topped it, i never even seen pics of this bread growing.... but i know it would have yielded more! I have a bubblegum coming down next week and i didn't top her either. she looks much bigger than yesterdays chop but looks can be deceiving. she is an indica with huge leaves... they always look bigger to me... we will all find out in six days though!!

Thank you for the compliment!! the comment i made was in the sense that all my nirvana genetic strains always yield more bud. even the party cup grows i fooled around with a few months back gave me much more than the bag seeds i used. then again there are only three strains of bag seed that i have so maybe thats not fair either. but it is what it is and it didn't yield much. but i am plants ahead on my smoking so i have a few jars full to buffer out a missed week or two.

falling behind is hard to catch up... it feels like it takes triple the work to get even again. I fell way behind last September but i was lucky because i had 8 plants outdoors to put a nice buffer in there. like i said it was luck not timing!

when i started out i was only growing one strain, blueberry. when i started cloning i didn't know anything! one out 5 would live! but once i had the correct environment and good tools and a sound method everything cleared up and i haven't lost one since thanksgiving!(knock on wood).

so when i take a cutting I get roots in about 10-17 days. my smaller clones root faster but the bigger ones grow faster once they do root, so i like to have large clones to start.

I veg them for about six to eight weeks after I put them in soil. the diesel plant that i transplanted yesterday is about six weeks of veg. a friend gave me those clippings on the second week of January. I put it in that small container on January 25th. i will probably veg her for two or three more weeks, not because she is not ready but because i have two other plants in veg that are bigger than she is.

I just did my first monster cropping a few weeks ago. i took two clones at harvest time, that's right harvest time! both of them have rooted now(took almost four weeks) and are growing. I also revegged the entire plant. which is growing way out of control right now, and must be attended to within the hour!

the key for me that got everything rolling smoother was to concentrate on the vegging. get that veg area full and stuffed and don't stop starting new growth. every time i put a plant into flowering i lollipop her, i start all those clipping, needed or not! if i get to many, i give em away! once in a while one of my plants will die a week after going in soil. sometimes i think i rush them in the soil and i should wait till the roots are filling the cup.

just get the vegg area full. clone everyday if you have to! i hope some of this helps you...

may the force be with you!

monster cropping? whats that?

When I was less... moral,, and grew for profit I grew almost nothing but indica's it's not just those big fat leaves making it look bigger in my humble opinion on average indica's are far heavier producers. It is easier to keep an indica from stretching and indica's produce more of a full bud versus the popcorn buds that sativa's are often producing. But there are many sativa's and hybrids that have incredible potency's making up for the issues with production weight. :)

great info on how to manage a perpetual stoney!!! coming from the perptual guru himself :) . if/when i someday go down this path, i will keep your advice in mind...

p.s. @hippysmoke, monstercropping is taking clones in late flowering, as far as i understand it...

advantage of monstercropping? i think it's done as a last resort to save the genetics... ideally you would take clones during veg, but if you can't for whatever reason, you can always monstercrop... i could be wrong... stoney, educate us! :)

I agree, My indica's put out much more than my sativa's do. My bubblegum looks deceiving though many leaves around it make it look puffy. where my blueberry sativa is face value, what you see is what you get!!!

I get popcorn buds on all of my plants... i just started to lollipop them so i hope that fixes that issue!

You are correct, it is a way of saving the dna as last resort for many of us.

From what i understand it started back in the early 90's when this guy took clones from his flowering plants all the time. all his plants were monsters!!! a couple of guys met him and coined the phrase "monster cropping" because the felt pruning was done in veg and cropping is done in flower so they called it monster cropping. I have an article about it saved somewhere.... i would have called it flower clones instead.

I have read this before... it is very good and explains it well.

learn somthin everyday roun' here! I monster cropped& didnt even know it! All my chernobyls rt. Now were [email protected] made it& selected 7.
your gonna have monsters!!!!!

umm...2-3 of them did. But none of them have any branching off of them. Does that make sense?i left lil buds&every pistol swelled&a single branch grew. 1 has 8 of them branches. Ea lil branch filling up w/bud like single colas. Another 1 has 3 branches but where the branches come from is a ball of buds. Im postin pics in cupl hrs-
