Thursday Night Chop Down!

I am pumped!! My buddy has a meter I will borrow it. 4sq ft recomended for max yield I have maybe 2 1/2sq ft? now I won't have to constently turn bulbs on and off and run the ac more than I need to! 307.90$ after s&h(less than my monthly truck payment!) but about 21 grams of free bud will pay for that then the rest is free free bud cause my electric bill isnt as much as I pay for a half oz.

Thanks for sharing about gothom really pleased with the service!!(they were closed today but apparently someone was there because it changed from "order placed" to "being processed" in 3 hours)

Thanks so much guys!!!! i am how ever not an expert in the technology. I've researched a bunch of manufacturers, read a lot of journals using all different kinds , but mostly learned everything from other users here on RIU!!! there are some serious guru's of LED on this site.... now me, I'm a guru of smokin and getting blasted!!!! but I will continue to share my opinions and hope i don't steer anyone wrong!

yea man, I pumped for ya!!!!!! 2-1/2 square feet sounds perfect for that light. i would be afraid more than that wouldn't be enough.... 4 sq. feet is a little bit of a stretch IMO. If you have any issues hanging it to need to save room and can't use the factory hangers let me know... I have a few creative ways to get all the space you need. That was one highlight of an LED for me... only used a few inches of headroom to use it.

10-4 I'm pretty sure it will hang too low for the factory hangers. needing to keep it 10-14" for the top of the canopy and as stretched as the girls are.

Thanks bro!!! I take that kindly!!! There is one other benefit I didn't tell you about... Now this is fact, people have debated it on RIU but the facts are facts.... LED lights grow more potent product than any other light on the market today. Now I'm not saying it will take low THC count plants and make them more potent. but what it will do, is grow the genetics you have to the best that they can. I have friends that grow the exact same DNA as I do, and use different lighting systems and mine wins in potency every time! Not to mention the rock hard buds!!!!!!!

so if you were already chompin at the bit this should put a big grin on your face!!!!

Word. I'm going LED next time, and I'm calling my lights stoneyluv . Amnesia was really nice, euphoric and feel good body high, social and a lot of laughing. Hit me more slowly than blue cream which was more visual trippy. Amnesia after 2-3 hours gots me drowsy too. Sorry rambling, but dude, GREAT info on the LED thing. Temps too cold??? Haha I wish I'd had that problem!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to checking out the lighting booths at the MediCup in June, and I really hope Inda-Gro is there, I'm starting to get interested in these Induction lights...And if I can get a sweet deal on an LED and I have the cash, might just snatch it up!

It sounds like i would like the blue cream better. Which do you prefer?

yea, i chuckled to myself about the temps.... first day the veg cabinet was 62-64F the flower cabinet was 67F!!! it's at 77.5 right now. I may just leave it alone... I have fans on inside and it's not sealed so i should be fine. i hope...

i like those induction lights also!!! let me know what you find there as far as info and prices... check out plasma lights also if you see any, i believe these will be the future!! plasma lights and fogponics... now that's growin!!

Hmm.. those look cool too meta. I'll also be scoping out the led scene at medicup. And Stoney, I'll be honest, overall I like the blue cream better, but don't wanna knock the amnesia because i've tried it from the dispensaries and it was awesome, so my particular grow wasn't perfect but oh well... they're both great, but blue cream takes the prize!

Thanks man! I've been debating on an LED or a couple 150w CMHs...it's such a hard decision! I know temps will be better with the LED, but for some reason I feel like the 150w wouldn't be hard to cool.

those are some great lights!!! gumball uses two of them in one cabinet. he has no problem keeping his temps manageable. what about a cool tube option? since you already have the lights.

Thanks Meta!!! I didn't know about the germ rate issue on those... I'm kinda glad i didn't, it would have made me worry even more!!! since this time i used different soil than i have in the past. ( I got a bag of MG seed starter on sale) my clones have been really liking it, so i figured the seedlings would to. now that i know about the germ rate, i think I'm gonna perform a C-section on her if she doesn't pop through the soil soon.

Felix is one happy lookin dog right there!!! Is that the dog that goes by the name giggle box? My favorites are hammered tight and RC china doll. and sell high has been a new favorite to!!!

Yeah, haha, I wouldn't mess with it. If it popped it should be fine. I think it was just an issue with the seeds cracking apart, or lack of. If the first one made it out fine, I don't see why #2 wouldn't do the same on it's own!

thats the band, the song is "love on a real train". thats the song that played when Tom banged Rebecca De Mornay on the subway train, LoL.
yes, he is, hes a very cool dog, hammer is in tonight, 4-1. also, something came in the mail today!!!!! had to sign for it but no biggie and it took 7 days, herbies is great!!! oh, also, did you just plant those 2 in the soil or did you germ them?

oops!! to late... I went and fucked with it!! it's all good though... she it ready to rise out soon enough!! i made sure the soil on top of her was super loose just to give her that extra help. she has a very good chance of survival!!!

woooohooo!!! SEEDS!!!!!!! our seedlings will have a very close birthday!!! but no, I didn't germ them. I filled a small 3" container half way with MG seed starter. put in in a bin and poured water in the bin to bottom feed the containers for a few hours...pulled them out. then i poked a 3/4" deep hole in the soil with a sharpie, set the seed in the hole pointy side up with a sterilized pair or tweezers. then i lightly rake the soil back over the hole. making sure there are no big pieces of bark or any large debris from the soil. sprayed to top really well with water and put a 23W CFL over each of them!

I sowed them both on thursday afternoon. and i sprayed the tops twice a day.
