Dont mean to hijack thread but how does timber stack up to hlg?
@beercan ,

We used to build a series of lights using the original QB288 boards. HLG is a good company and Amit and Stephen are good guys. Can’t go wrong with either HLG or Timber both are solid choices in my biased opinion. Both are also quite different. Curious for others to chime in with their opinions and experiences as well.

Merry Christmas

I have 315 cmh that i need to replace bulbs in thats why im leaning towards more leds for longevity, i have a few hlg 260 watt also
Timber will mix match light spectrums for you. If you're trying to get close to a 315cmh 3100k. You could do a timber 3 light configuration with a 1750k, a 3k and a 4k. That combination works out to around a 3k spectrum with plenty of red and blue. I have cmh's with 315 3100k bulbs and I have a Fatty with a combo spectrum. The Timbers will definitely meet your needs.

I’ll try to get some better photos, but I’ve had a good experience with my Timber’s. I run 3 of the 3VL in a 5x5, but I’m only using two of them right now.
