My friend lives in the middle of a residential area and has about 4 plants in his back yard. Within the last month they have been ripped five times. Yes, five times. The third time somebody attempted to rip them they caught the guy when he was peeking over the fence. They both rushed out the gate and aggressively confronted the guy. They got pics on their iphones of the guy and let him go as he claimed to be looking for his brother's house and accidentally peeked of the wrong fence. After this confrontation, I let them borrow my deer monitor camera. The fourth time getting ripped they got some blurry pics of what looks to be like the previous guy who ripped them. After that my friend bought four security cameras from best buy that store the recording wirelessly on a hard drive. Yesterday he got jacked again and two of the cameras got perfect footage of the guy and my deer camera snapped some clear images too. The footage is funny as shit. My friend set up a trip line hooked up to an air horn that is located right in front of one of the cams. The look on his face is hilarious when the air horn goes off. It turns out that it is a different guy than the previous jacker. Overall, my friend still got over a pound off his one plant as the stupid scums only took shitty plants or just a few colas.

I love it- I thought of rigging one of those motion sensors that trips a door chime inside but instead record gun shots and sirens

I dont have a problem w rippers but i was toying w the idea of trip wires hooked to paintball grenades.

UPDATE: My friend spotted the ripper in town this morning. Police report will be filed soon and another scum will be arrested. HAHA
BTW, these cameras rock. For 250 bucks I think, you get 4 cameras that are pretty stealth and store recorded footage wireless to the hard drive. Also deer cam worked pretty well too but way cooler to see recorded camera footage.

Haha..I doubt that. Even in med states where the cops are lenient..theyre not gonna drive around like dragnet looking for some dude that your friend has on video stealing his plants

My brother stopped by a couple of weeks ago & tried to sell me some bud. He didn't even know that I had a jungle in my backyard... 
. I asked him what strain it was & he said "backyard Bubba". He obviously made it up on the spot. That is the sign of a piece of sh!t ripper. We aren't that close because I have close ties to the courts & he's a criminal. My only security is dogs. They are very friendly but don't like my brother. Dog's know character.
If someone doesn't know the strain they are peddling chances are they ripped it. Don't support rippers. I fyou are offered a deal that is too good to be true, it's probably stolen goods.

not true i know of one grower near here personally the pigs came and told him they caught these dudes staking out his poolside grow - that's the dig if you live in an area full of fancy houses and pools you can grow lbs and lbs and lbs the rippers still rip but the pigs go and catch them if they can because they do protect and serve the almighty dollar....

i decided it was worth the lesson and that looser wouldn't know how to harvest shit and of course he didn't all that ripper effort to waste....

This town is small enough to find him again easily. Cops are also familiar with a lot of these types of people, besides my friend could easily spot him again and just call the cops.

Haha, yeah he sleeps but probably not as much lately. It's easy to set up the cams as he is a rookie and easily picked up footage from 2 cams in one jacking. The footage is funny from the cam next to his plant as the ripper almost touches it with his leg as he crouches over to cut the branches.

Well screw you Wooten!! I'm from Merced County and I resent that. Well I'm not really from Merced but if I was I would resent that. Maggots come in all shapes and sizes and from different income brackets. I know some poor maggots but I sure know some wealthy maggots as well. Character does not give a s*** about what color nationality or income bracket you reside in.
I survived my season by telling no 1 where I was growing. I guess for you legal States guys all they have to do is look over your fence. That's fucked. I think I would rather hide them.
