Top 10 INDOOR cash crop--INPUT PLEASE

The debate continues!

I've spent the last couple weeks scouring the Internet for the best cash crop. Man, there is just such a fine selection these days, actually a bit overwhelming! I've managed to narrow it down to 10, and I'd love your feedback. (My preferences were short harvest time, short size, and bag appeal. Would love more feedback on cloneability, pheno stability, harvest size, and trusted seedbanks!)
Cheers!
Top 10 (feel free to re-arrange and comment)

1-God
2-Sweet Tooth
3-Sweet God
(Unfortunately, all 3 come from BC Bud Depot, which has TERRIBLE reviews.)
4-Big Blue (NL#5 X Blueberry)
5-Blue Dynamite (Dynamite X Blueberry)
6-The Purps
7-Fucking Incredible (2008 Cannabis Cup)
(I'm a big fan of colors for bag appeal, but found Blueberry hard to clone and colors often get 'not strong' complaints.)
8-American Dream
9-Chocolate Chunk
10-Black Domina
(Last 3 grow short, with one main huge cola-perfect for SOG)

Honorable Mention (but hard to find info)
Avalon
Cinderella 99
Purple Cindy

I'll try to add some more info like pics and trusted carriers(seedbanks)

Please help me narrow the 10 down to TOP 3-thanks!

Ive had this discussion with friends of mine, many seem to overlook PPP and oldschool AK varieties in scrog. Not too sure about bag appeal with these strains but for pheno-stability and speed of growth these two are tops. You can keep cutting harvest apon harvest.

True Indigo, those guys 'pack a punch.' Only reason they didn't 'make the list' was a lack of bag appeal--look kinda schwag, IMHO.

Within the last few years I've grown (and had a few issues) with these:
From Dutch Passion
1-Blueberry (didn't clone well)
2-Strawberry Cough (too Sativa for Indoor)
3-White Widow (couchlock but fan fav)
From Pukka:
4-Bubblegum (current and my favorite effect wise, but NOT a fan fav--bit of a creeper and limited bag appeal. Also, HARD to clone and very unstable pheno. Not sure if it's Bubblegum or just the seedbank.)

All and all, might be a good idea to go back to the tried and true.....but I've always had a taste for the exotic.

Gotta keep reminding myself it's not for ME--"Never get high on your own supply."

I have been hearing about "God" from a friend of mine for years. He swears it was the heaviest high he has ever had. He grew it outdoors and said it took off.

Too bad "god" goes for $90 for 12 seeds. The description reads-"A popular plant among professional cash croppers, these very dense and heavy crystal coated buds, flavour and accompanying high, make for outer-body experiences." My bro said he was playing his guitar and Jimi Hendrix was playing with him. I always laughed at that....but just maybe....

Yea, I read a lot of good things about 'God'.....that's why I put it at #1

Too bad we don't have more people adding their '2 cents' with these strains.....would love to hear more personal experiences.

I have ordered the purps, god bud, elites triple sour diesel, and Delta9s brainstorm haze from BC Bud Depot. It did take awhile to get my order but I got everything. The god bud was good not great it yielded 51 grams. The purps was less stable with more phenos some purple some not the non purple were better yielders. The purple phenos yielded 54grams per the non yielded 90grams per. Elites triple sour yielded 61 grams the god and rocked it as far as the potency went. If you cure it longer the smell was very intense. The brainstorm haze was longer to finish and actually the best yield out of everything about 100grams per plant but very tall about six foot. These are just my results. Maybe I did not get the full yield from them because it was my first run with these.

That's great info, thanks!

I read the same thing about BC Bud Depot. Some people got there stuff, some didN'T, so that gives me pause. I actually had there order page up but had a question they never replied to-twice.

I don't like to work with 'hit or miss' seedbanks. Anyone know a good bank that stocks there seeds?

RisingStock I don't know some of the strains you've listed but the ones I know all look great.

Endlesss Sky - Dr Greenthumb
6 weeks flower
Extremely potent
Short Plant
400 - 500 g / m2
Good breeder and seedbank

http://www.drgreenthumb.com/cannabis_seeds_GreenthumbSeedsEntrance.htm

.

Chronic - Serious Seeds
Improved in 2000. This is one of the larger yielding varieties, this medium height, not too dense plant is the perfect combination of good yield and excellent quality. Smokers that know and grow choose this plant for its combination of appearance and sweet smell. Grows a single huge central bud with few side branches. This strain does not respond well to topping. Mild, sweet smell develops while flowering, take care to dry thoroughly after harvest to maintain this subtle fragrance.

  • Winner of The Spanish Highlife Cup 2004 - 1st Prize
  • 3rd prize High Times Cannabis Cup 1994
  • Indoor clone grow time: 5?10 days
  • Indoor flowering time: 56-63 days
  • Indoor yield: 350?600 grams/m2
Attitude is a good bank.11 regular cannabis seeds.

Bubblegum by Serious is a potent strain, great tasting bud, fantastic bag appeal, 9 weeks flower, top twice and it'll stay short.

Good to know about the C99, I can rule that one out.

Thanks Hobbes, not familiar with the Endless Sky, but came across Chronic MANY times. Had everything I was looking for, except limited bag appeal. Lots of people described it as 'surprising. (Not that that's a bad thing). What was your take?

Actually, a lot of strains are like that, 'almost' perfect. Because the are SO many good strains, I'm trying to find the 'best of the best'--if it even exists. Case in point, Sweet Tooth #4. Almost perfect, but too many reports of it not being strong enough (which, personally, I like. But 'couchlock' seems to be the preference, unfortunately.)

Guess I'm searching for the 'holy grail'---a personal, AND fan favorite. Something that tastes great but hits hard, looks great, and starts couchy with a cerebral smooth finish, no burnout . IF it even exists. But, a labor of love.

Hearing quite a bit about 'Sour Diesel'.....could this be the one?

I was reading the BC Bud Depot Forums, and they realeased a God 2.0. It is supposed to have increased growth in veg (a problem with God). That would probably help with the low yields that people experience. Im looking heavily into God 2.0.

God 2.0???

Makes my mouth water......but does anyone carry BC Bud Depot seeds......besides BC Bud Depot? (Attitude was mentioned , but besides being overpriced, a quick look at their supported seedbanks showed no BC Bud Depot. (maybe they can't get their orders delivered either.)

Thanks trapper......another variable not met (one of the most important ones IMHO)

If a plant doesn't clone well, it really messes up the whole Op. That's why I threw Bluberry to the curb and am about to do the same with Bubblegum. Both have 'purple' genetics. Maybe the 'purps' are a bit more finicky? (Although I've been reading good things about 'Grandaddy Purple.'

I'm liking black domina. i recently found out it grows good with minimum light also. moved and kept the mums light to a minimum to slow growth and by some time. quad cfl only for 4 plants. back under the 400w(veg) and exploded back to life. now the strawberry cough x deep chunk, purp kush, and g13 not as good. g13 horrible as new growth became flimsy and almost unable to hold up nodes after watering. purp kush actually grew great however growth so slow unable to clone, strawberry cough perfect popscile not so many clones. all plants grown out fully under thouie

Black domina clones really well. i keep multiple plants in mother pots so i dont have a buttload of moms. plus hopefully only count as 1 plant and go unnoticed wink wink. Managealbe to contain. Really nice dense nugz and good smell. It was by far the most potent out of my current listed strains.

I'm ditchin the g13 as it is worst looking, straggly bud, and was not that potent. I admit it was not a happy grower as demanded its OWN nute mix and my trays are not separated by strain. It was finicky. Purp Kush is dense and nice but low yeild(small plants) need long veg. Strawberry cough x deepchunk definetly frosty plant. i thought it was going to be most potent by bag appeal but Black Domina takes it.

1. Black Domina
2. Strawberry cough x deep chunk
3. Purple Kush
4. G13

that is my breakdown of my current results. I'm lookin for 3 replacement strains and keepn the Black Domina. Has anyone tried Querkle? Ide reallly like some feedback on this strain.

sTaY LiFteD !

Thanks for the feedback, Lifted. As I said, I grew Strawberry Cough, but found it WAY to 'spready' for an Indoor SOG Op. Huge plant, a few of them and I just didn't have the light coverage.

Interesting about the Purple Kush--once again, another purple phenotype that doesn't clone well. Again, wonder if buying from a top notch seedbank would make a difference. My first grow was with Blueberry from Dutch Passion, and it just didn't clone very well. ('Course, coulda been because it was my first grow.)

Bubblegum from Pukka is a great grower, IF you can get strong healthy clones. Unfortunately, big IF.
