Glad to know I'm not the only one.

Hard to clone is an understatement--even the ones that show roots are just weak out the gate. Adds another 3, 4 weeks just to get them up to speed. Cash crop nightmare.

With that in mind maybe I'll start a new thread-"Worst cash crop strain."

Did you try them in an aerocloner? I just built one and I'm thinking of giving that a try. Last time I just did RR plugs.

I'm very happy with my bubblegum plants, just not the cloning.

Everyones situation is different. (ESID).

That's one of the reasons it's so hard to pick a 'top' strain. Grown under perfect, or near perfect, conditions with good parental genetics and proper phenotype screening can make just about any strain look marvelous. My attempt has been to scour the Internet to find some strains that seem to have a higher probability of success.

Pretty excited about the 'power 3'-God, Purps, and Sweet Tooth. So far, BC Seedbank seems legit-received confirmation of my order (15 seeds per strain) AND ship out notification. Will visually inspect seeds and report back with germ rates before drawing

Now that I've chosen my strains, I'd appreciate any germinatin 'secrets' and, although it's a bit early, any advice on picking the strongest phenotype. Took the utmost care in picking my Bubblegum, or so I thought. Even though a plant 'looks' strong doesn't mean it clones well. Lesson learned. Now to add the knowledge.

Cashcrop means most profitable right? So if God has low yields are you selling them for like 30/g. i mean there is price limit to a certain extent right? Are any of your top 3 good for SOG?

sweet tooth 4 is what the albfuct uses. swears by it. I have been growing a cross between white widow and purple cindy. It is bud packed or starting to get packed at 8 weeks. So maybe the fact I had to move it in light and abnormal dark fucked it or it is a 12 weeker. I have seen it grow a long time. I had trouble cloning it. Took forever is the prob, no real probs. Beaut of a plant. I am hoping just a 12 weeker, as when it finishes it looks promising.

Also a dame blanch just matured. Killer smoke, and awesome growing.

Does cash crop mean like good overall, or money and profits? Like personal stash or selling? Also where does Albfaqt get his seeds Sweet tooth 4? Is this optimal for SOG? I kinda want to do Chronic next run.

Currently have THC BOMB,Blackberry,Jock horror, PPP,ICE and bag

not the greatest for SOG

By and large I read good things about God, only a few detractors. Phenotype has A LOT to do with it, as well as the conditions you grow it in, obviously. I got 15 seeds (BC is FOR REAL) and I'm going to try to pick a winner. Apparently, when God is good, it's GREAT! certainly enviable genetically.

Da purps I just had to have. Hell, it's purple! Great bag appeal.

Sweetooth is supposed to be the best of the bunch. Great for SOG. We'll see.

One lesson I learned, recently, is to have more than one offering. I'm only growing Bubblegum at the moment, and frankly, a lot of peeps don't like it, although I do (effect wise). However, it's terrible at cloning. Probably my bad, as I said, just cause a plant looks strong in veg doesn't mean it clones well.

Also, and I just learned this recently as well (d'oh!), it's important to offer more than one strain. Give the people some choice, mix it up a bit.

Cash crop means profit, IMHO.

One of the most important lessons I learned is that what I like and what the custys like aren't usually the same.

A cash crop should:
-flower quickly
-have bag appeal (people like to brag to their friends)
-hit quick and powerful (not my preference)
-CLONE WELL

.....the list goes on....disease resistant, primarily Indica (for indoor)....
ETC

By the way, BC SeedKing is the REAL DEAL! I received my order, in super stealth packaging, about 7-10 days. Visually, they look pretty good. Germinating 3 of each now (glass of water method).

I'll let'cha y'all know how they go. Hell, maybe I'll even start a journal

Sweet tooth is by far the best cash crop bud I have grown. It will just keep packing on the weight. But its not a day time smoke it will knock you the fuck out.:peace:

hey Nick, saw you @PP. Coolness. i'm assuming you are right about sweet tooth because everybody here seems to be running it. I like it OK. I think i still like NL better for a stone though...which is kinda weird because I'd rather have a sativa. I got some of those Pc99s you asked about, I'm hoping to cross it with a satori. We will see.:peace:

Sweet tooth is not my favorite weed but I do enjoy it and as far as stains that yield huge its great because it stays real stocky has really thick stems so it can support itself, is really easy to take care of and sells really well. I just bought some chocolope, purple wreck and og kush #18 from attitude today. Tomorrow I am going to get sour turbo and maybe moondawg or white bubba (I missed out on the fire white :wall:)from potpimp and from bidzbay jack the ripper and jilly bean. So I should have a decent selection to choose from.:hump:
