Topping my plant

So how’s that smoke? :bigjoint:
Oh sorry I've been so busy getting ready to relocate to a different city I forgot yo post my results for you, and everyone to see.
I got over 5.5 ounces of dry bud which I was super happy with. Plus all the sugar leaf and shade which I love using in stead of tobacco or vaping.

I will post some pics of the final product. The buds are nice and compact but not too dense, picks off nicely.
They have a lovely smell when they are broken and the high is a balance of both indica and sativa, so whoever said she looks like a cross was bang on in my opinion. Smokes smooth and easy

Thanks for all your help once again, couldn't have produced this without you.
Cheers to everyone who supported me and answered questions. !!!

Look forward to getting the next one underway in a few months maybe.

Thanks bro, it has been a really cool experience and I loved watching it go through all its different stages.
I know where I can improve upon too. Looking forward to learning about different strains and techniques. Probably just tweak/master what I have learnt for the next couple of grows. Possibly do an indoor one over winter here.

I really appreciate the feed back. Is 5.5 ounces pretty standard per plant? I feel if I left it one to two more weeks I may have got slightly more.

Has anyone ever tried partial harvesting? I left a single branch on my plant and it seems to have fillilled out somewhat. I had to chop the end off as it got a little bud rot when we had a stint of wet weather.
It got me thinking that maybe I could have chopped it down from the top in thirds over three to four weeks, giving the lower, more shaded branches a little extra time to develop. Or would this just cost the top buds etc?
I guess this is what makes topping the plant a good option??
