topping while in budding

I was wondering can u top a plant that is budding. The top buds are ready for harvest and i want to let the lower ones grow....is it safe?

usually its fine to harvest your plant is stages. By taking of the main Cola (top) that is ready for harvesting your letting the plant put all its energy into the lower buds and they will get more sunlight this way.

yeah... but how long has it been flowering... are you sure it is ready?

i'm about to do the same myself, i've seen some other threads where people kept plants alive for super long amounts doing this.

I just wanna get the biguns out and get the young ones in.
so I like to harvest all at once

I do 2 stage harvest I take mature top buds off then thin out extra growth and give the little guys 2 maybe 3 more weeks then take them down

cool well i topped it, is there any way to take the top and regrow it?

If you topped it then it should have been a big cola or you did this for no reason. Only top in flower if the top cola was ready you dont regrow it you manicure and dry it........

i topped mine and i was seriously suprised at the size of the buds being held beneath all the leafs of the top. i think i am going to continue doing this til i am the bottom. be a lot nicer to end up with fully mature buds all the way down than to crop early.
