Can you do a heavy or near complete trim a few days before harvest? Any benefit to stress plant to increase resin production just before harvest when it won't affect yield?

idk man but i do defoliation to up the bud.
dont do it..
1. the ease of trimming up a dry plant vs wet well.. last year I did the trim on the plants before harvest to save some time.. mistake... this year did the whole plant hang and dry took a bit longer on some strains but the ease of trimming was increase by 100. the smell and flavor are added bonuses
2. read the post here called I am never trimming before drying again.. it shows ya why you should not trim wet.

i have tried both ways and i prefer to trim just before hanging.
. myself i hangdry whole plant untill dry for same reasons of giouawinterwhite

Easier or not is less important then whether there is any benefit to the quality of the end product.

if quality of the product is what you're interested in, hang the plant as a whole. slower dry = better flavor/aroma. period.
