I have 1 plant almost ready to harvest, good percent of the hairs are turning a nice orange, crystals are coming along good also. But from seeing numerous pics on the site, im a bit confused....why exactly do people completly manicur there buds while there still n the plant? Is that due to allowing more light in to make em more resinous? Even though im not sure of the benifit i did it anyway, so now my plant has nothing but bud and bud only on it, no leaf, completly manicured and still has about 3 weeks to go, what can i imagin will happen in the last 2 weeks?? my buds are very loose, seeded ( due to a hermi) and rather small...will they thicken up in the last 3 weeks or get more resin on them? and again what if any is the benifit of manicuring the buds while there still in flower? thnx

NOT recommended to cut any leaves until the day of harvest.. UNLESS the leaves are necrotic (DEAD)..

BTW, some plants look like they have been trimmed... but that is actually the way they look.. I saw a batch of TRAINWRECK that look manicured.. it was in the last 2-4 days of flowering... When I asked the farmer why he manicured... he said.. I did not manicure... it was just the strain...

you might be in for some bad buds........most plants that look like that is because the leaves fall off themselves...

i manicured my bud on a Thursday and harvested it on a sat. i just did that cuz i thought the lower buds would appreciate the extra light for 2 days but 3 weeks is definitely too long, well this it what first grows are for trial and error

I snip off leave that overlap other plants especially in my SOG...the sog plants basically are just one or two huge colas and some small leaves..
