Thanks for reminding me to ALWAYS check before citing something from twitter. That said, that guy has a good sense of humor. Like this:

actually surprising he does....i like starting there, there is a couple of other starters i work with, some are plain BS but others they tend to lay out the info pretty good.......then spreading out to see if the info conisides...then i follow the rabbit hole to see if everything matches to what i'm seeing...thats before i make any comments and such.....kinda like Durham today...boy did the Dems make him squirm, think they caught him in a lie as well..

DOJ delayed opening a criminal investigation into Trump for Jan 6. insurrection for more than a year

The Washington Post recently reported that the FBI and the Department of Justice delayed for more than a year opening a criminal investigation into Donald Trump and his associates for their attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. The reporting is disturbing, revealing that career prosecutors had recommended investigating Trump and his associate but FBI And DOJ leadership refused, working about the appearance of partisanship.

This video does a deep dive into the potential damage to the quest for accountability of the lengthy delay in opening a criminal probe into Trump and his criminal associates. Additionally, this video discusses how declining to open a criminal investigation when there was "adequate predications" - enough evidence - to open a probe for fear of it appearing political is indeed a political act itself, and should NOT be a consideration. Rather, the decision to open a criminal investigation should be based ONLY on the facts and the law, not concerns of how it will be perceived or criticized by others.

This video also discusses the silver lining of Donald Trump thinking his best shot at avoiding accountability, and avoiding prison, was to announce he was again running for president. The reality is this decision by Trump is what prompted Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint Jack Smith as special counsel, which accelerated the pace and scope of the criminal probe into Trump and company.

The man with the golden john is likely shitting lead bricks. I wonder if his remaining attorneys have turned on the parental controls on his social media sites.

BREAKING: Republican Donald Trump is hit with more devastating legal news as NBC News drops bombshell, reveals that “the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General has launched a CRIMINAL investigation into the circumstances surrounding the destruction of Secret Service text messages that may have been relevant to inquiries about the January 6 Capitol riot.”

But it gets even worse for Trump…

NBC continues, reporting that, “The results of the investigation could be referred to federal prosecutors”

The Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General informed the Secret Service tonight that the investigation is now criminal — and that it should put a stop to all internal investigations on the missing text messages so that evidence can be preserved.

This is REALLY bad news for Trump. If the investigation finds that Trump ordered the Secret Service to delete their text messages from January 6, he is likely to face yet another criminal indictment.

Another area badly needing reform and in a case with a long cultural history of arrogant defiance of regulations and accountability that means sweeping personnel changes. Just don't put Durham on the investigation.

I'd like to be able to defend the secret service, but following clearly illegal orders, and not reporting on the seditious activity they HAD to be aware of makes it a lot harder to defend them...
